For example, it is conventionally known that a headrest equipped with a pillow on which an occupant rests his or her head is attached to an automobile seat, and that such a pillow is supported so as to be able to reciprocate linearly in accordance with the occupant's body. Conventionally, the pillow was configured to be moved by rotating a handle attached to the pillow.
Since such a handle protrudes outward from the pillow, the handle inevitably becomes a nuisance to the occupant. Furthermore, each time the pillow position is adjusted, the handle must be rotated, making the operation very cumbersome.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a pillow having a pillow body on which a seated person rests their head, a body holding member that fixedly supports the body, and a pillow that supports the pillow so that it can reciprocate linearly in the front and back direction of the seat. A headrest comprising a pillow support member and an adjustment means for adjusting the reciprocating movement of the pillow, wherein the adjustment means is fixed to either the pillow support member or the main body holding member, and the adjustment means is fixed to either the pillow support member or the main body holding member, and the adjustment means is fixed to either the pillow support member or the main body holding member, and a ratchet having teeth linearly arranged in a direction; a pawl meshing with the teeth of the ratchet and pivotally connected to the other of the pillow support member and the body holding member; formed on the ratchet; a first guide portion that guides and rotates the pawl in a direction in which the pawl of the pawl is disengaged from the teeth of the ratchet when the pillow moves a predetermined distance from its initial position in any one of the fore-and-aft directions; The pillow is provided on the other of the pillow support member and the main body holding member, and comes into contact with the pole to prevent rotation of the pole when the pillow moves in the one direction and reaches its terminal position. a first stopper formed on the ratchet for abutting against the pawl to prevent further movement of the pillow when the pillow moves in the one direction and reaches its terminal position; a second stopper attached to the one of the pillow support member and the main body holding member, the pawl of the pole is attached to the ratchet when the pillow moves from the terminal position in the other direction and returns to the initial position; a second guide portion that guides and rotates the pawl when the pillow moves in the other direction so as to mesh with the teeth of the pawl; and a spring that biases the pawl so that the pawl maintains the engaged state when the pawl of the pawl is engaged with the tooth, and the pawl maintains the engaged state. Suggest a headrest.

It has a torsion coil spring 29 which has each end locked, a tension spring 30 which has each end connected to the connecting member 14 of the pillow support member 11 and the side plate 5 of the main body holding member 9, respectively. The ratchet 23 has teeth 33 arranged horizontally in a straight line in the front-rear direction of the seat 1.
1 and 32 mesh as described later. In this example, two claws 31 and 32 are formed on the pole 28, but it is also possible to have one claw or three or more claws. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the winding portion 29a of the torsion coil spring 29 is located between the pole 28 and the side plate 5.

When the pillow 10 is in the initial position shown in FIG. 2 and shown in solid lines in FIG. meshes with the teeth 33 of the ratchet 23 as shown in FIG. 4a. Here, a first locking position A where one end of the torsion coil spring 29 is locked to the side plate 5, and a second locking position B where the other end of this spring 29 is locked to the pole 28. A line connecting the two is defined as a first line C, and a line connecting the center of the pin 27 that pivots the pole 28 and the second locking position B is defined as a second line D. Second
The angle α formed by the line D with the line D is smaller than 180°. Therefore, the pawl 28 is subjected to an external force in the direction indicated by the arrow F in FIG. 4a by the torsion coil spring 29, and is given a rotational habit around the pin 27 in the clockwise direction in FIG. 4a. . For this reason, Paul 2
The pawls 31 and 32 of No. 8 are pushed into the teeth 33 of the ratchet 23 and remain in this state unless an external force is applied to the pillow 10. Of course, the above-mentioned pole 2
The claws 31 and 32 of No. 8 are in a locked state,
It never comes out of engagement.

う。 Next, in order to adjust the position of the pillow 10, it is pushed from its initial position to either the front or rear direction of the seat 1. In this example, the direction indicated by arrow P,
That is, the pillow body 4 is pushed in the opposite direction to the direction in which the load of the seated person's head is applied. In this way, the pillow body 4
When pushed in one direction P in the front-rear direction, the pillow body 4 moves horizontally together with its holding member 9 against the action of the tension spring 30. At this time, each guide pin 17,
18, 19, 24 are the respective long holes 20, 21, 22, 2
5, the pillow 10 can be moved in the horizontal direction without tilting or rattling. Accordingly, the pawl 28 also moves in one direction P together with the side plate 5, and meshes with the teeth 33 of the ratchet 23 while swinging around the pin 27.

Therefore, if the pressing force on the pillow 10 is released at this time, the claws 31 and 32 of the pole 28 will be released.

counterclockwise around the pin 27 so as to disengage from the teeth 33 and reach the end position shown in FIG. 4d. At this time, the angle α becomes greater than 180°, and the torsion coil spring 29 exerts an external force on the pole 28 in the direction indicated by the arrow F' in FIG. 4d. When the pillow 10 moves in one direction P and reaches its terminal position in this way, the first stopper 35 protruding from the side plate 5 of the main body holding member 9 comes into contact with the pawl 28, and the pawl 28 rotates. prevent movement. Thus, the pawl 28 maintains its pawls 31, 32 disengaged from the teeth of the ratchet. At the same time, the pawl 31 of the pawl 28 comes into contact with a second stopper 34a formed on the ratchet portion above the first guide portion 34, thereby causing the pawl 28 and, therefore, the pillow 10
Further movement of the pillow 10 is prevented and the pillow 10 stops in its end position. That is, the first stopper 35
The pillow 10 is reliably stopped by the prevention of rotation of the pawl 28 and the cooperation between the second stopper 34a and the abutment of the pawl 28. Since the pillow 10 is stopped in this manner, the operator can reliably know that the pillow has reached its end position.

The cost can be reduced compared to the conventional method, and the structure can be simplified.

Since it maintains a state away from the pillow 10
is biased toward its initial position by the action of the tension spring 30, and horizontally moves together with the pole 28 from the terminal position shown by the chain line in FIG. . Pillow 1 like this
0 moves in the other direction Q and the pole 28 returns to the position shown in FIG. The pawl 28 is guided while being pressed by the guide portion 36, and rotates around the pin 27 in the clockwise direction in FIG. 4. When the pillow 10 returns to its initial position in this way, the pole 28
The pawls 31 and 32 of the ratchet 23 mesh with the teeth 33 of the ratchet 23. At this time, α<180°, and the pole 28 is urged in the direction of arrow F by the spring 29, so the pole 28

It is also possible to provide each. Add pillow to seat 1
It can also be configured to reciprocate in diagonal front and rear directions. Further, the pillow may be driven not manually but by a drive device, for example, an electric motor.

According to the present invention, there is no need to use a handle that gets in the way of the seated person, and the pillow can be moved extremely easily without turning the handle, improving operability. Further, the pillow can be reliably stopped at a predetermined end position by the second stopper, and since the second stopper is formed on the ratchet itself, cost reduction and structural simplification can be achieved.
