Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the stretchability, fitness to body, heat retaining properties and waterproofness of the stock concerned by a method wherein braided cloth is laminated at least to the front surface side of hot pressed polyurethane foam, which is formed by hot-pressing non-rigid polyurethane foam, and at the same time, waterproof and moisture front surface side and the hot-pressed polyurethane foam. CONSTITUTION:Braided cloth 4 is laminated through waterproof and moisture permeable coat 3 to the front surface side of hot-pressed polyurethane foam 2, to the rear surface side of which braided cloth 5 is directly laminated. The hot-pressed polyurethane foam 2 is obtained by hot-pressing non-rigid polyurethane foam excellent in resistance to heat deterioration. The waterproof and moisture permeable coat 3 is made of moisture permeable one-pack type polyurethane resin, in the constituent of which hydrophilic group such as amino group, hydroxyl group or the like is indispensable. Further, the addition of white pigment such as titanium oxide or the like is preferable. As the braded cloths 4 and 5, tricot (warp knitting), knit work (weft knitting) or the like made of ordinary natural fiber, synthetic fiber, semisynthetic fiber or the like is used.

Materials used for sportswear such as ski wear are required to have elasticity that does not impede free body movement, as well as recovery properties, and conventionally, stretchable textiles have been used as this type of material. However, it had the disadvantage of poor cold protection. In order to solve this problem, we have created a two-layer design using a relatively thin material such as a stretchable woven fabric or knitted fabric on the front side and bonding a relatively high stretch material such as raised tricot to the back side. Composite materials are also used in the construction. However, in such composite materials, the material on the back side emphasizes heat retention rather than elasticity, so the stretchability of the composite material is not necessarily sufficient, and there are also problems with the fit to the body. Moreover, since the front and back materials are bonded together with an adhesive, there is a problem in that the elasticity is lower than that of each material alone. Furthermore, conventional materials of this kind do not have sufficient waterproof properties, and are not suitable as materials for clothing such as ski wear, which also requires waterproof properties.

The waterproof moisture-permeable film 3 is provided to prevent water from entering from the outside and prevent moisture from accumulating inside by releasing vapor such as sweat, and forms a general polymer film. Any polymer that can be used can be used, but a polymer that has excellent flexibility and stretchability and does not particularly affect the texture of the surface is suitable. The waterproof moisture permeable film 3 has a moisture permeability of 500 g/cd for 24 hours or more, and a water pressure resistance of 2000 wm.
It is preferable to use Aq or more, and as such a film,
A film made of a moisture-permeable liquid polyurethane resin may be mentioned, but the urethane resin component must contain a hydrophilic group such as an amino group or a hydroxyl group. In addition, the above moisture permeability is JIS
The value is based on K 0208 (25°C, 90%), and the water pressure resistance is the value based on JIS L 1092A water column method (low pressure method). The thickness of the waterproof moisture permeable film 3 is 50 to 100 μm

It is preferable to add a white pigment such as titanium oxide to the waterproof moisture permeable film 3. This reflects ultraviolet rays to prevent the heat-compressed polyurethane foam 2 from yellowing due to the ultraviolet rays, and even if yellowing occurs, it does not affect the color of the knitted fabric 4 on the surface of the yellowed heat-compressed polyurethane foam 2. This is to hide the color. In addition to titanium oxide, mica (mica) can also be used as a white pigment.

The amount of white pigment added is 1 of the resin constituting the waterproof moisture-permeable film 3.
It is preferably about 3 to 10 parts by weight per 00 parts by weight. The waterproof moisture-permeable film 3 is provided at least between the knitted fabric 4 on the front side and the heat-compressed polyurethane foam 2, but as shown in FIG. can also be provided. When the waterproof, moisture-permeable film 3 is provided on both sides of the heat-compressed polyurethane foam 2, the moisture permeability decreases, but since the convection of air contained in the urethane foam is restricted, there is an effect of further increasing heat retention.

An adhesive is used to laminate the heat-compressed polyurethane foam 2, waterproof permeable membrane 3, and knitted fabric 4.5. Water-resistant adhesive strength is required for adhesion between the thermocompressible polyurethane foam 2 and the waterproof, moisture-permeable film, so water-based adhesives such as emulsions are not suitable (e.g., solvent-based polyurethane resins, polyester resins, etc.). An adhesive is used to bond the waterproof moisture-permeable film 3 and the knitted fabric 4, and a solvent-based two-component reactive urean resin adhesive with particularly strong adhesive strength and excellent water-resistant adhesive strength is used. In addition, the same type of adhesive is used for adhesion between the heat-compressed polyurethane foam 2 and the knitted fabric 5 for the same reason as above. After laminating the waterproof and moisture-permeable film 3 (if the waterproof and moisture-permeable film 3 is provided between the knitted fabric 5 on the back side and the heat-compressed polyurethane foam 2, the waterproof and permeable film 3 is also laminated on one side of the knitted fabric 5 on the back side). The composite material 1 of the present invention can be produced by laminating the wet film 3) and the knitted fabric 4.5 on the heat-compressed polyurethane foam 2. Since the heat-compressed polyurethane foam is included, there is no risk of impairing elasticity, unlike when knitted fabrics are laminated by directly bonding them together with an adhesive.

Example 1 A 2-weight tricoft (white) with a tensile elongation of 300% obtained using a blended yarn consisting of 80% nylon and 20% polyurethane was coated on the back side with a moisture permeability of 800 g/d for 24 hours and a water pressure resistance of 2000 m. A two-component polyurethane adhesive was applied to the surface of a heat-compressed polyurethane foam having a thickness of 0°7w1 m, and the laminate was adhered to the coated surface with the waterproof, moisture-permeable film side in contact with the surface. Furthermore, a two-component polyurethane adhesive was applied to the back side of the heat-compressed polyurethane foam, and a two-way tricontactant similar to that described above was adhered to this coated surface to obtain a composite material. The resulting composite material has a moisture permeability of 1100g/rrr・24
It had a water pressure resistance of 2000 hours and water column, and a tensile elongation of 250%. The weight of this composite material is 500 g/rd.
The white color of the tricot surface did not become cloudy even after 40 hours of irradiation using a fade meter double light acceleration tester. When ski wear was created using this composite material, it was found to have excellent heat retention and a good fit to the body.
