As described above, the magnetic piece 23 is embedded in the display element 21. With reference to figure a, the display element 21
Suppose that it comes from position A to position C via B in the figure. When you want to display a message to the person viewing the display surface 21b, turn on the electromagnet 24 and turn the magnetic piece 23 to C.
When suction is applied at the position , when the display element 21 comes to the position D, it has been rotated by about 90 degrees from the arrangement at the position A. When the display element 21 passes the position E and approaches the position F, the display element 21 comes into contact with the end surface 26 of the rotation prevention plate 25, and rotates about 90 degrees to a state where it has rotated 180 degrees from the arrangement at the position A, that is. 2
1a and 21b are reversed, and positions G and H
The display surface 21 appears to the viewer when it is reversed.
Display b. Since the display element 21 rotates in this manner, it is also called a rotating body, such rotation of the display element 21 is called writing, and the electromagnet 24 is also called a write head. The above-described rotation of the display element 21 is performed by turning the electromagnet 24 ON and OFF in response to a signal from a control panel (not shown), and the characters, etc. are displayed from left to right when viewed from direction V in the figure a. Because of the fluid motion, the illustrated device is referred to as a fluid display device.

The above-mentioned sensor 30 is arranged as shown in the figure across a belt, and windows are formed in the belt at certain regular intervals, and the sensor light passes through the windows.
Due to the interruption, the electromagnet 24 is turned ON as described above.
Detection is performed at the timing when it is turned OFF, and desired writing is performed in the write head section.

Before the display element 21 enters the write head section as described above, the display surface of the display element 21 must be uniformly aligned, and for this purpose, the erase head section shown in the plan view of FIG. Use. In addition, in the figure, 36 indicates a permanent magnet. The display element 21, which has moved leftward in the figure, turns in the direction shown by the arrow as the magnetic piece 28 is attracted by the permanent magnet 36, and when it leaves the permanent magnet 36, all the display elements 21 are The same side, in the example above, only the black or red side is displayed aligned in one direction. For this reason, the permanent magnet 36 is called an erasing head, and the portion where it is arranged is called the erasing head section. The writing described above is performed on the display elements whose display surfaces are aligned in this way.

In the erasing head section, the display element before entering the erasing head (permanent magnet) remains stationary after leaving the writing head, and when it is attracted to the permanent magnet in that state, the coefficient of friction with the rotating shaft increases. The display element is large because it is stationary, and in some cases there was a display element that did not rotate, as shown by the dotted line in FIG.

The above problem is that the front and back surfaces are display surfaces, and multiple rotatable display elements with magnetic pieces embedded in one side are mounted vertically on rotating shafts attached perpendicularly to the upper and lower endless conveyor belts. In a fluid display device that writes and displays information by rotating a rotary display element by an attractive force between an electromagnet and a magnetic piece provided in the write head part while the belt is moving forward, a permanent display is provided separately from the write part. An erasing head section composed of a magnet is provided, and a brush is placed in front of the permanent magnet when viewed in the direction of movement of the rotating display element, at a position where its bristles come into contact with the rotating display element, and the brush is rotated by contact between the bristles and the rotating display element. The problem is solved by providing a fluid display device characterized in that the display element is forcibly moved.

In the above arrangement, the display element 21, which has been moving at a considerable speed, always comes into contact with the bristles 33 of the brush 32 and is swayed by it, so that the display element 21 is no longer in a stationary state and the coefficient of friction becomes small. Next, approach the permanent magnet 36 and remove the magnetic piece 2.
3 is always rotated when it is attracted to the permanent magnet 36.

In the present invention, a brush 32 having bristles 33 is placed in front of a permanent magnet 36 constituting an erasing head in the direction of movement of the display element 21, so that the bristles 33 of the brush are always connected to the display element 21, as shown in FIG. Place it in a position where it makes contact. If the bristles 33 are made of a material with sufficient rigidity, the display element, which has advanced at a considerable speed, will be forced into contact with the bristles 33 and will make irregular swaying movements. As a result, the coefficient of friction, which had been large until then due to the stationary state, becomes small, and when an attractive force is applied to the magnetic piece 23 from the permanent magnet 36, the display element 21 always moves as indicated by the arrow in FIG. When the magnet 36 rotates and leaves the permanent magnet 36, the display surfaces of all display elements are aligned. When writing is performed on display elements whose display surfaces are aligned in this manner, there is no display element that produces an erroneous display, so that the designed display is clearly produced.

If the bristles of the brush are made of a material that removes static electricity, the static electricity from the display element will be removed, so the display element will rotate reliably both mechanically and electromagnetically.

As described above, according to the present invention, in a fluid display device, the display element before entering the erasing head section is forcibly moved and is not in a stationary state, so the coefficient of friction is reduced and the permanent magnet Since it is always rotated by , the erasing effect is fully exhibited, which is very effective in obtaining the designed display.
