Conventionally, as shown in Fig. 1, shoji a,
Folding fittings A, in which the members a can be folded freely, are well known. In the folding fittings A, runners c are provided on the rails of the upper and lower sash horizontal frames a, and at both the upper and lower ends of the vertical stile b, b on the butting side of the shoji a.
It can be opened and closed so that it can be moved by slidingly engaging it. In this case, when the folding fitting A is closed and placed in the extended state, it is difficult to keep it still in the extended state, and there is also a gap between the upper and lower ends of the folding fitting A and the upper and lower sash horizontal frames A and H. , and the sealing between the folding fittings A and the upper and lower sash horizontal frames A and F could not be ensured.
Therefore, as shown in Fig. 2, a hanging wall C is provided on the upper horizontal sash frame A, and a rising wall G is provided on the lower horizontal sash frame A, and a tight material D is provided on each side. The folding fitting A is made easy to stand still in the extended state, and gaps are prevented between the upper and lower ends of the folding fitting A and the upper and lower sash horizontal frames A and H. However, as shown in Fig. 3, in order to pivot the opposing vertical frames b, b of adjacent shoji, a shaft is curved toward the outdoor side at the end of the indoor wall of each vertical frame b, b. Connecting parts g, g are formed, and a shaft part f provided on a connecting body e interposed between both vertical frames b, b is pivotally connected to this pivoting connecting part g so as to be rotatable. In the case where adjacent folding shojis a and a are folded and connected by the body e, when the folding fitting A is in an extended state, the interior wall of the vertical stile b comes into contact with the tight material d and the pivot. A gap will be created between the connecting parts g and g, and outside air and rainwater will enter through this part, causing a serious problem in openings that require airtightness or watertightness, such as windows and doorways. Ta.

The present invention forms arc-shaped pivot joints that curve toward the outside of the room at the indoor wall ends of opposing vertical frames of adjacent shoji doors, and is pivoted to both pivot joints. A connecting body with a shaft portion is interposed and connected between the two vertical frames to form a folding fitting that allows the adjacent shoji to be freely folded, with the shaft connecting portion protruding toward the outside of the room. In the sash that is assembled between the sash horizontal frames, a tight material that is in close contact with the indoor side of the folding fittings in an extended state is attached to the sash horizontal frames, and a cutout is formed in the pivot joint at a position facing the tight material. A connecting part sealing device for folding fittings, characterized in that a closing body is provided in the cutout part between the indoor walls of the opposing vertical stile and has a surface that comes into close contact with the tight material. be.

The glass shoji 2, 2 are foldably connected by a connecting body 6. The connecting body 6 is made of an extruded member having a substantially H-shaped cross section, and has shaft portions 7, 7 facing each other at both ends thereof on the indoor side. At the ends of the indoor side walls of the vertical frames of the adjacent shoji 2 that face each other, arc-shaped pivot connecting parts 5 that slidably fit into the shaft parts 7 of the connecting bodies 6 are arranged so that they face toward the outdoor side. It is formed in a curved manner. By pivotally attaching the pivot connecting portion 5 to the shaft portion 7, the shoji 2, 2 are folded and connected. Then, as shown in FIG. 4, when the folding fitting 1 is in an extended state and brought into close contact with the tight material 11, the pivot connecting portion 5 of the shoji 2 that is folded and connected,
A substantially triangular gap 12 is formed between the curved outer circumferential surface of No. 5 and the tight material 11. 6th
As shown in FIG. 8, a closing body 13 is attached between the vertical frames 4, 4 to close this gap 12. This closing body 13 is made of a rectangular parallelepiped made of synthetic resin, and as shown in FIG. 30, and is fixed to the connecting body 6 with screws 14, as shown in FIG. In this case, the closing body 13 serves to prevent the connecting body 6, which rotatably connects the shoji 2, to each other, from coming off. The indoor side of this closing body 13 forms a close contact surface 13a with the tight material 11, and is located between the vertical frames 4, 4 facing each other, and the indoor side wall 2 thereof.
It forms the same surface as the interior surface of No. 1 and continues. Therefore, when the folding fitting 1 is in the extended state, the indoor surfaces of the indoor walls 21 of the vertical frames 4, 4 that are continuous with each other and the indoor contact surface 13a of the closing body 13 are uniformly pressed against the tight material 11, and the folding fitting To securely seal the shaft connection part of 1.

Furthermore, even if the folding fittings 1 are two glass shojis folded and connected by the connecting body 6 as shown in the figure, they are formed by connecting three or more glass shojis continuously by the connecting body 6. It can be something.

As shown in FIG. 4, a bulging sealing body 15 having a hollow bulging cross-sectional shape is attached to the abutting portion 2a of one of the folding fittings 1. The bulging portion of the bulging sealing body 15 is formed to protrude from the surface of the abutting portion 2a, and the bulging portion is deformable so as to be pushed into the hollow portion. Further, a convex sealing body 16 having a convex cross-sectional shape is attached to the abutting part 2a of the other folding fitting 1, and the convex part of the convex sealing body 16 is formed so as to protrude from the surface of the abutting part 2a. has been done. When the folding fittings 1 and 1 are extended from the folded state and abutted against each other, the convex portion of the convex sealing body 16 presses the convex portion of the bulging sealing body 15 and is deformed so as to be pushed into the hollow portion. The bulging sealing body 15 is pressed and deformed by the sealing body 16, and the convex sealing body 16 is brought into close contact with the bulging sealing body 15, thereby ensuring watertightness and airtightness between the folding fittings 1 and 1.

Moreover, as shown in FIG. 4, folding fittings 1
When the shoji 2 is in the extended state, there is a void formed between the two stile 4 on the folded protruding side of the stile 4 of one shoji 2.
A sealing member 17 for sealing is attached to a mounting portion 18 formed over the vertical and longitudinal directions of the vertical stile 4.

As mentioned above, the folding fittings connecting part sealing device of the present invention tightly seals the closing body that closes the gap that occurs between the pivot connecting part of the shoji and the tight material of the sash horizontal frame when the folding fittings are in the extended state. A cutout is provided in the pivot joint at a position facing the material, and the cutout is provided with a contact surface that comes into close contact with the tight material between the indoor walls of the opposing vertical stile. Therefore, when the folding fittings are in the extended state, the joints of each shoji can be reliably sealed, and the airtightness and watertightness of openings such as windows and doorways can be improved.
In addition, if the tight material contact surface of the closing body is flush with the side wall surface of the vertical stile, the folding fittings will maintain the extended state in a straight line due to contact with the tight material, and will easily stand still in that state. becomes. Furthermore, when the folding fittings are running, the closing body is less likely to come into contact with the tight material like a shoji screen, making it easier to run.
