に取付けて成る冷却装置において、前記シリンダ
ブロツクにおける冷却水入口の上部を、前記冷却
水ポンプにおける渦巻き室の天井面より高い部位
に位置する一方、前記冷却水ポンプとシリンダブ
ロツクとの間に介挿したシール用のガスケツトに
、前記冷却水ポンプにおける渦巻き室の天井面と
、シリンダブロツクにおける冷却水入口とを連通
するスリツト溝を設けたことを特徴とする内燃機
