Stand-up fans and the like are packaged using cushioning material, in which the stand-up fan is held in an outer box with cushioning material made of foamed resin or the like. Since the cushioning material needs to hold the stand fan without wobbling, the shape of the holding side is different from the outer shell surface and has a complicated and uneven shape, making it difficult to store with conventional cushioning materials. . In other words, when storing and transporting cushioning materials, a suitable number of cushioning materials are bundled together, but because the bonding conditions between the cushioning materials are not good, the overall shape may become unstable or it may be difficult to handle. However, due to this, some of the convex portions were damaged.

A cushioning body for packaging a stand fan as an application example of the present invention shown in the drawings is composed of a pair of front and rear cushioning materials 1 and 2 made of encased resin, and is disassembled into a blade guard 3, a blade 4, and a main body 5. The stand fan is held in a disassembled state by being clamped from the front and back of the main body 5, and is housed in an outer box 6 in this state.
The main body 5 of the stand fan, including the stand 5A and the motor part 5B, is housed in the center of the buffer body, and the blade guards 3 and blades 4 are distributed and housed on the left and right sides of the buffer body, respectively. The front and rear cushioning materials 1 and 2 have a generally solid rectangular parallelepiped structure with flat outer surfaces other than the facing surfaces, and have the same vertical and horizontal dimensions. Front and rear cushioning materials 1,
The facing surfaces of the blades 2 and 2 are uneven surfaces having three protruding parts and two recesses, a blade storage part 7 and a blade guard storage part 8, compared to a flat surface. One of the three protruding parts is formed as a rectangular protruding part at the upper center, and this is the part of the motor part 5 of the main body 5.
As the motor holding part 9 that holds the front and rear parts of the motor part 5B, a fitting part 10 that can fit the front side or the rear side of the motor part 5B is recessed in the center thereof. The other two of the three protruding parts are base holding protrusions 11 formed on the left and right sides of the lower part at a distance that allows the motor holding part 9 to fit therein, and their opposing sides are located on the stand 5A of the main body 5. A receiving surface 12 conforms to the side profile of the base portion 5C, allowing for restraint retention of the base portion 5C. The dimensions and shape of the base holding protrusion 11 substantially correspond to the recess formed by the flat surfaces on both sides of the motor holding part 9 and the motor holding part 9.

That is, the cushioning body of this example includes the front and rear cushioning materials 1,
2, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the stand fan in the disassembled state can be restrained and held between the front and back, and by storing it in the outer box 6 in this state, the stand fan can be secured. Although it can be used for packaging, its feature is that the base portion 5C of the main body 5 has a large weight.
Since only the portions that hold the and motor portion 5B are configured as protruding portions on the mating surfaces, the overall thickness is minimal and the weight is small. It is possible to combine the front and rear cushioning materials 1 and 2 into a simple, well-organized and stable configuration. In other words, when the front and rear cushioning materials 1 and 2 are rotated 180 degrees so that they face each other, the motor holding part 9 and the base holding protrusion 11 on the opposing surfaces will overlap with the space between the opposing base holding protrusion 11 and the motor holding part. Each fits on both sides of 9,
The overall result is a simple block with no irregularities on its outer surface, as shown in FIG. Storage and handling in this form is easy as stacking and bundling in large numbers can be performed stably, and the structure that functions as a buffer is rarely damaged because they are joined together on the inside facing each other. There isn't.

As is clear from the above description of the embodiments, the shock absorber for a stand fan of the present invention has a pair of front and rear cushioning materials that clamp and hold the main body of the stand fan from the front and back, on the surface that holds the stand fan. By rotating one side half a turn, the unevenness of the surface engages with the surface, so when storing and transporting it, it is best to use a protective form that combines the structure of the surface that functions as a buffer on the inside. It can be easily stacked and tied together in large numbers.
It is extremely easy to store and handle, and
Since only the portions that hold the base portion and the motor portion, which are heavy, are configured as protruding portions on the mating surfaces, the overall thickness is minimal and the weight is small.
