〔産業上の利用分野〕
この発明は、例えば、スクラバにより排出される液状物
に含まれる溶解物質を取り出す時等に使用するドラムド
ライヤ、特にドラム間の隙間調整を容易に行うことがで
きるドラムドライヤに関する.
〔従来の技術〕
この種のドラムドライヤは加熱される一対のドラムをそ
の外周面にわずかな隙間を設けて水平かつ平行に配置し
、その接触部上周面間に液状物を供給し、前記両ドラム
を回転させることによりその外周面上に前記液状物を導
くと共に乾燥させ、その中の溶解物質を乾燥固形物とし
てドラム外周面に析出させてスクレバーナイフで削り取
るものである.
ところで、上述したドラム間の隙間は完全に削り取られ
なかった乾燥固形物が通過でき、かつ供給された液状物
が漏れない程度の微少なものであり、従来は製造時に調
整した上で両ドラムの軸受けを完全に固定していた.
このため、不測の事態、例えばスクレバーナイフが何ら
かの原因でドラム外周面から離反しているような場合、
ドラム外周面に析出した乾燥固形物がそのままドラム間
の隙間に送り込まれ、乾燥固形物がドラム間の隙間を通
過する際、両ドラムで挾み込まれると同時にその反力が
ドラム外周面に加わり、ドラム外周面がへこむことにな
る.すると、以後、このドラム外周面のへこみによりド
ラム間の隙間が大きくなり、供給液状物の漏れが生じて
乾燥固形物の回収効率が低下する.そこで、一方のドラ
ムの軸受を基体上に設けられたスライドベースに固定し
て他方のドラムに対して接近離反可能とし、シャーピン
等のロック機構で位置決めすることにより、異常な力が
加わった場合には、シャーピンが折れてロックが解除さ

〔課題を解決するための手段〕
上記の課題を解決するため、この発明は上述したドラム
ドライヤにおいて、スライドベースのスライダの駆動手
段を設けると共に復帰位置の位置決め調整装置を設け、
この位置決め調整装置を、駆動機構を有する水平動可動
な原動スライダと、前記スライドベースの摺動方向に固
定されかつ上下動可能な従動スライダとで構戒し、前記
原動スライダと従動スライダとを原動スライダの移動方
向の傾斜面を介して圧接させると共に前記スライドベー
スのスライダと従動スライダとを前記スライダを支持す
る方向の傾斜肯で当接させたのである.
〔作用〕
駆動手段により、スライドベースのスライダを進退させ
ると、そのスライダに固定された一方のドラムが他方の
固定されたドラムに接近離反し、位置決め調整装置の従
動スライダ側面に前記スライダが当接することにより前
記ドラム間の隙間が復元される.
また、前記位置決め調整装置は、原動スライダを進退さ
せると、従動スライダが上下動し、この従動スライダの
前記スライダとの当接面が斜面であるためスライダの停
止位置、すなわちドラム間の隙間量が変化する.このた
め、前記当接面の傾斜角を大きくすると、従動スライダ
の変位量に対してスライドベースのスライダの復帰位置
の変位量を小さくすることができるので微調整を行うこ
とができる.さらに、当接面を有する従動スライダの移
動方向とスライドベースの摺動方向とが異なるため、当
接待の従動スライダの位置ずれがなく、精度のよい位置
決めが行える.
〔実施例〕
以下、実施例について図面を参照して説明する.まず、
第3図に基づいて、このドラムドライヤの概略構成を説
明する.蒸気により加熱される一対のドラム10は、軸
受20aが基体40に固定された固定ドラム10aと、
軸受20bがスライドベース30を介して基体40に固
定され、前記固定ドラム10aに接近離反可能な可動ド
ラム10bとから戒る.風ドラム10a、10bは水平
かつ平行に配置され、その外周面の相互間にわずかな隙
間(例えば約0.8m)を設けて接触させてある.その
接触部上周面の両端には隔壁11が設けられ、この隔壁

する乾燥固形物はドラム10の下部に設けられたスクレ
バーナイフ13で削り取られ、排出シュート14から排
出される.
次に、前記可動ドラム10bの軸受部の詳細構造につい
て説明する.第1図および第2図に示すように、軸受2
0bはドラム軸に対して直角方向に摺動可能なスライド
ベース30を介して基体40上に固定されている.さら
に、前記スライドベース30には、その基部31に位置
決め調整装置50を設けると共にスライダ32に油圧シ
リンダ60のピストンロッド61が連結してあり、この
油圧シリンダ60により可動ドラム10bを動かして前
記固定ドラム10aに対する離反および復帰を行う.な
お、前記スライドベース30はスライダ32と基部31
があり溝嵌合されており、摺動面にはテフロン層33を
設けて摺動性能を良くしてある.
前記位置決め調整装150は、前記基部31の可動ドラ
ム10bの復帰方向の端部に一体化された立上りブロッ
ク31aを反力受として取り付けてあり、ボールねし機
構518により基部31上をドラム軸方向に進退する原
動スライダ51と、立上りブロック31aの側面に沿っ
て上下動可能な従動スライダ52とから或る.
前記原動不ライダ51の上面は、その移動方向の傾斜面
になっており、この傾斜面上には、下面が対応する傾斜
面の従動スライダ52がばね52aの圧縮力により圧接
されている.また、この従動スライダ52と前記スライ
ダ32の端部に一体化された係止ブロック32aとが、
互いに傾斜面でドラム10の復帰方向に当接するように
なっている.
従って、前記ボールねじ機構51aを操作して原動スラ
イダ51を動かすと、従動スライダ52が上下動し、こ
の動きに伴って係止ブロック32aの当接位置も変化す
る.
前記油圧シリンダ60は、押し引き可能な複動式であり
、前記スライダ32を前進後退させることができる.ま
た、この油圧シリンダ6f1は、可動ドラム10bの復
帰時には、係止ブロック32aを前記従動スライダ52
に押し付けた状態で油圧を所定圧力に維持するようにな
っており、スライダ32がこの油圧シリンダ60の加圧
力より大きい外力を逆方向に受けた場合は、リリーフ弁
(図示していない)により油圧が逃げてスライダ32自
体が押し戻される.
従って、このドラムドライヤの使用中に、上述したよう
な不測の事態が発生した場合は、可動ドラム10bが自
動的に固定ドラム10aから離反し、両ドラム10の外
周面を保護する.このように、この油圧シリンダ60は
可動ドラム10bの駆動手段であると共に、ドラム外周
面の保護機能も備えているため、従来使用していたシャ
ーピン等の保護手段を必要としない.なお、図中のりξ
ットスイッチ62は作動状態の確認用のものである.
この実施例においては駆動手段として、油圧シリングを
使用しているが、これに限定さκVねじジャッキ等の他
の駆動源を使用してもよい。ただし、駆動源によっては
、前記シャーピン等何らかの保護装置を別に設けなけれ
ばならない場合がある.
〔効果〕
この発明はドラムドライヤを以上の構成にしたため、重
量のある可動側のドラムを固定側のドラムに対して容易
に接近離反させることができると共に、可動側のドラム
の復帰時にはその位置決めが正確かつ簡単に行うことが
できる.
このため、従来めんどうであった定期的なドラムの移動
作業が確実に実施されることになり、装置の効率的使用
および長期使用が可能になる.また、ドラム間の隙間の
調整を容易にしかも精度良く行うことができるという利
