Incidentally, a unit-attached tile is a tile unit in which a plurality of tiles are arranged, for example, in the form of vertical and horizontal joints, and a base sheet is attached to the front or back of this tile unit, and is generally used in hand-tiled construction methods. .

There are two types of unit tiles: patterns (patterns) and solid colors. Regardless of patterns, in the case of single-colored tiles, there may be various causes such as variations in the particle size distribution of the raw materials, variations in the raw materials due to segregation in the hopper, or differences in the firing position inside the kiln, even if the tiles are of the same color. Differences in shading occur from lot to lot.

This caused the appearance to deteriorate.

According to the present invention, the above object is to classify a large number of tiles having the same color but different densities into a plurality of tile groups each having substantially the same densities, and to The tiles are fed in a boosted manner by a feed conveyor having a dam stop device, and the tiles are placed in a predetermined order of the rows of tile units to be formed by individually opening and closing said stop devices according to an operating program. The tiles, whose postures have been corrected on the transfer path, are transferred onto a discharge conveyor, and the rows of tile units are sequentially shifted in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rows onto the collecting conveyor, so that they are closely spaced. In the tile unit formed in this way, the tiles from each tile group having different densities are arranged so as to be adjacent to each other in the vertical and horizontal directions. This is accomplished by a mixing method.

The numbers indicate an example of the operating order of the stopper devices S 1 , S 2 , and S 3 , and the ◯ marks indicate the release timing of each stopper. That is, at a first point in time the stopper device S 1
is released to allow the transfer of the dark colored tiles, and at a second point in time the stopper device S2 is released to allow the transfer of the standard colored tiles.

As can be seen from the figure, vertically and horizontally adjacent tiles in one tile unit have different densities, so no color unevenness is observed in the tile unit. Also, since tiles of a standard color are adjacent between tile units adjacent in the vertical and horizontal directions, unevenness will not be noticeable when pasted over a wide area.

トを貼つてユニツト貼りタイルとする。 The controller mechanism described above may be electrical or mechanical. In short, any device that can operate the three stopper devices S 1 , S 2 , S 3 according to a preset program is sufficient. Furthermore, the type of stopper is not limited to one that stops the tile at the front of the tile, but may also stop the tile by clamping from the side edge or by pressing from the back side. Further, the number of tiles per tile unit is not limited to nine, but can be increased to 100 per tile unit using, for example, 3 cm square tiles. A base sheet is attached to the tile unit to create a unit-attached tile.

Furthermore, by arbitrarily setting the operating program of the controller, it is possible to make the unevenness of shading less noticeable as a whole when unit-attached tiles are attached to a wide construction surface.
