The conventional push button cover device has the following problems. In other words, as shown by the arrow in FIG. 2b, if the end of the cover 2 is pushed and it falls off, the contact part with the switch 1 may not be lowered sufficiently, or the cover 2 may fall against the surrounding wall 3a on the way down. There were many cases where the machine would get stuck and cause problems such as when it stopped working. When you press the end,
Since the cover 2 tends to get caught on the peripheral wall 3a, there is a problem in that the cover 2 feels uncomfortable when operated.

Since the cover is a plate-shaped body, even if the cover is dropped, it will not get caught on the surrounding wall and the switch can be operated reliably. Since a protrusion is provided on the surrounding wall side and notches are provided on both sides of this protrusion, the plate-shaped cover is supported on the upper part of the protrusion, and the part of the surrounding wall where the protrusion is provided is elastically deformed to facilitate the push-in operation of the cover. You can definitely do it. Moreover, at the top of the surrounding wall,
An outward facing flange with a groove provided on the back surface is provided, and the protrusion is formed at a lower position than the bottom surface of the groove, so that elastic deformation of the peripheral wall of the flange causes the elastic deformation of the peripheral wall to be at a position higher than the protrusion. The deformation point of the surrounding wall is easier to spread and the protrusion is Since it becomes easier to move outward, the cover can be pushed in with a small pressing force.

As shown in detail in FIG. 6b, an outward flange 16 is provided at the upper end of the peripheral wall 8, and at least a portion along the edge of the peripheral wall 8a among the portions along the edge of the peripheral wall 8 on the back surface of the outward flange 16. A groove 17 is provided in the groove 17 so that the protrusion 10 is lower than the bottom surface of the groove 17. Further, the notches on both sides of the peripheral wall 8a are made up to the height of the bottom surface of the groove 17.

As shown in FIG. 5a, when the cover 6 is fitted between the protrusion 9 and the protrusion 10 of the body 7, a push button cover device is obtained. As shown in the figure,
In this push button cover device, the body 7 is fitted and fixed in a recess 5a provided around the push button 1 in the main body case 5 of the device equipped with the push button 1, as in the conventional case. can be attached to. Then, when the cover 6 of the push button cover device is pushed downward, the peripheral walls 8a, 8a are removed from the flange 16.
Starting from the bottom of the groove 17 on the back surface, the protrusions 10, 10 are expanded outward, the cover 6 is lowered, and the push button 1 is pressed as shown in FIG. 5b. After the cover 6 passes the protrusion 10, the protrusion 10 returns to its original position due to the elasticity of the peripheral wall 8a.

In this push button cover device, the cover 6 is a plate-shaped body, which is thinner than a conventional box-shaped body. Even if one side of the cover 6 falls off due to pressing, one side of the cover 6 will be sufficiently lowered to a predetermined position. Therefore, the contact portion with the switch 1 is also sufficiently lowered, and there is no fear that the cover 6 will get caught on the peripheral wall 8 and become stuck. Since there is less risk of the cover 2 getting caught on the surrounding wall 8,
Good operating feel.

As means for supporting the cover, a protrusion is provided on the elastic peripheral wall. In this way, the quality is stabilized because there is less risk of damage due to variations in the pressing force required for the cover from device to device. The reason is as follows. In other words, conventionally, as mentioned above, the protrusion of the cover is fitted into the window to support the cover, but when parts are processed, burrs form on the window or protrusion, making it difficult to remove the protrusion from the window. The pressing force required for the cover often varied depending on the case.
On the other hand, this problem does not occur because the means for supporting the cover in this invention does not have a fitting structure such as a protrusion and a window.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a and d, the protrusion 12 provided on the outer lower side of the peripheral wall 8b provides a comfortable insertion feel when the body 7 is fitted into the recess 5a of the main body case. This is to prevent the body 7 from falling out of the recess 5a after fitting.

As shown in FIGS. 3, 4, and 5, a protrusion 13 is provided on the inner lower side of the peripheral wall 8a. This protrusion 13 is a stopper that prevents the cover 6 from falling off the body 7 when the cover 6 is pushed in. That is, when the cover 6 falls off to one side as shown in FIG. Diagram b
Make sure that you are pushed into the correct position like this.
If the protrusion 13 does not have the effect of preventing the cover 6 from falling off, if the cover 6 falls off to one side, the cover 6
may not press push button 1 correctly, and press button 1
fails to start. Moreover, when the cover 6 is returned to the position shown in FIG. 5a by the push-up force of the push button 1, this automatic return also fails.

As shown in FIGS. 3, 4, and 5, and FIG. A strip 14 is provided. This is a return guide for smoothly sliding the cover 6 to return it to its original position, that is, the position above the protrusion 10, after the cover 6 is pushed in.

As shown in Figures 3 and 4a,
On both sides of the cut 11, there are peripheral walls 8 along the cut 11.
A protrusion 15a is provided on the a side, and a protrusion 15b is provided on the peripheral wall 8b side. These are for reinforcing the peripheral wall 8, and the protrusions 15b also have the effect of preventing the body 7 from shaking when it is fitted into the recess of the main body case.
The protrusion 15a needs to be lower than the protrusion 15b. This means that when pushing in the cover 6, the surrounding wall 8
This is because it is necessary to allow a to expand outward.

As mentioned above, there is a groove 1 on the upper end of the peripheral wall 8 and on the back surface.
7, the cover 6 can be pushed in with a small pressing force. The reason for this is explained as follows. As shown in FIG. 6a, no groove is provided on the back surface of the outward flange 18 provided at the upper end of the peripheral wall 8a, and a protrusion 10 is provided at a position immediately below the lower surface of the outward flange 18. if you did this,
Since there is almost no difference in height between the lower surface of the outward flange 18, that is, the deformation base point of the peripheral wall 8a, and the protrusion 10, that is, the load point when pushing in the cover 6, the protrusion 10 does not move outward even when the cover 6 is pushed in. The peripheral wall 8a is difficult to expand. Therefore, a large pressing force is required to push the cover 6 in. On the other hand, in the embodiment of the invention shown in FIG. 6b, the bottom surface of the groove 17,
That is, since there is a sufficient difference in height between the deformation base point of the peripheral wall 8a and the protrusion 10, when the cover 6 is pushed in, the protrusion 10 can be moved outward with only a slight deformation of the deformation base point at the upper end of the peripheral wall 8a, and the peripheral wall 8a spreads easily. Therefore, only a small pressing force is required to push the cover 6 in.

Note that if only a height difference between the deformation base point of the peripheral wall 8a and the protrusion 10 is created, the outward flange 18
Instead of forming the groove 17 in the groove 17, it is sufficient to move the formation position of the protrusion 10 downward in FIG. 6a.
Then, the attachment position of the cover 6 supported by the protrusion 10 also moves downward. However, since there needs to be sufficient space between the cover 6 and the push button switch 1, the height of the entire circumferential wall must be increased by the amount that the position of the protrusion 10 is lowered to create a gap between the cover 6 and the push button switch 1. Naturally, the push button cover device becomes bulky and additional installation space is required. Therefore, in order to facilitate the deformation of the peripheral wall 8a and improve the push-in operability of the cover 6 without increasing the bulk of the push button cover device, the groove 17 is formed on the back surface of the outward flange 18 as described above. Two conditions are required: moving the deformation starting point of the peripheral wall 8a upward, and at the same time forming the protrusion 10 at a position lower than the bottom surface of the groove 17.

[Effects of the invention] The push button cover device according to this invention is constructed as described above, and since the cover is a plate-shaped body, no matter which position on the cover is pressed, the push button below it can be reliably pressed. It can be pushed and the cover is easy to operate.

In particular, an outward flange is provided at the upper end of the peripheral wall, which is imparted with elasticity by the cut and is provided with a protrusion that supports the cover, and a groove is provided on the back surface of this flange, and the second protrusion is inserted into the groove. Since the cover is formed at a lower position, when the cover is pushed in, the peripheral wall can easily expand and the protrusions can move outward, making it possible to push the cover in with a small pressing force, improving the operability of the cover. Or the operating feel will be extremely good.
