Next, the connection portion of the coaxial cable to the power supply box 7 will be explained. 16 is a recess formed in the lower surface of the main body 10 (the side surface may be used if the electronic box is an antenna booster, for example); 17 is the recess 16
The plugs are shown respectively. In the recess 16, reference numeral 18 denotes a fitting portion provided at the peripheral end of the opening, and the bottom surface thereof is formed into a scalene heptagon as shown in FIG. 19 is a fastening part for screwing a plug fixing screw, 20 is a central conductor connecting piece provided on a part of the inner surface of the recess 16, and 21 is an external part provided on a part of the inner surface of the recess 16. Each conductor connection piece is shown. These connecting pieces 20 and 21 are formed by applying nickel plating to a phosphor bronze plate or a brass plate having a thickness of about 0.2 to 0.4 mm. Moreover, those connection pieces 20 and 21 have connection terminals 20a and 21a exposed on the inner surface of the power supply box 7, respectively.
The other end of the balloon 13 is connected to each.
22 is the inner surface of the recess 16, and the connecting piece 20
It shows a recessed part on the opposite side. Next, in the plug 17, a main body 25 is made of the same synthetic resin material as the power supply box 7 and is formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape. In this main body 25, reference numeral 26 denotes a housing space for housing the stripped tip of the coaxial cable.
7. External conductor accommodating part 28 and unpeeled part accommodating part 2
It consists of 9. Reference numeral 30 indicates an insertion hole for the center conductor formed in the main body at the bottom of the accommodation space 26. Next, reference numeral 31 shown in FIG. 8 indicates a connecting member for the external conductor, which is provided on the side of the external conductor accommodating portion 28. In this connecting member 31, 3
Reference numeral 2 designates an external conductor receiving piece disposed along one side wall of the housing portion 28, and is made of a conductive material, for example, the same material as the connecting piece. Reference numeral 33 denotes a fastener provided on the side opposite to the receiving piece 32 in the housing portion 28, and includes a fastening piece 34 and a tightening screw 35.
and a threaded portion 36 formed on a part of the main body.
Next, on the outer surface of the main body 25, 37 shown in FIGS. 2 and 8 is an external conductor contact piece, which is formed integrally with the receiving piece 32, and is attached to the main body 25 in the state shown in FIG. There is. Reference numeral 38 denotes a curved portion of the center conductor provided outside the internal insulator housing portion 27, and a groove 38a is formed so that the center conductor can be stably placed. 39 indicates a groove for attaching the center conductor. Reference numeral 40 denotes a fitting piece provided on the opposite side of the bending part 38, and is formed in a shape corresponding to the fitting part 22 so that it can be fitted into the fitting part 22. Reference numeral 41 denotes a see-through window formed in the side wall of the housing portion 27 in the main body 25, and is formed so that the state in which the center conductor of the coaxial cable is directed from the internal insulator housing portion 27 to the insertion hole 30 can be visually observed. This window 41 is formed in the shape of a through hole, and is formed on two sides as shown in FIG. Incidentally, this see-through window may be made of a transparent synthetic resin material. Next, reference numeral 42 denotes a lid body that also serves as a fastening piece, and its planar shape is clearly shown in FIG.
It is formed into a heptagon with scalene sides corresponding to the shape of the heptagon, so that it can be fitted into the fitting part 18 only when the direction thereof accurately corresponds to the fitting part 18. As is clear from FIGS. 2 and 3, the lid 42 is formed integrally with the main body 25. Reference numeral 44 indicates a waterproof cap fitting portion formed integrally with the main body 25.

Next, in the above configuration, the coaxial cable 4
Connection 6 is made as follows. First, the tip of the coaxial cable 46 is stripped to expose the outer conductor 47, inner insulator 48, and center conductor 49. The outer conductor 47 may remain straight, or may be folded back to the outside of the outer insulator 47' as shown. Next, the plug 1 separated from the recess 16
7, the tip of the coaxial cable 46 is inserted toward the accommodation space 26, and the center conductor 49 is made to protrude from the insertion hole 30 as shown in FIG.
In the case of the above operation, the center conductor 49 directed toward the insertion hole 30 through the housing portion 27 can be visually observed through the see-through window 41, as shown in FIG. Therefore, it is possible to easily insert the center conductor 49 into the insertion hole 30. in this case,
Even if the center conductor 49 is somewhat bent, it can be accurately inserted into the insertion hole 30. In addition, in the case of the above work, it goes without saying that tightening screw 3
5 to separate the clamping piece 34 from the receiving piece 32. Next, as shown in FIG. 10, it was confirmed through the see-through window 41 that the internal insulator 48 was fully inserted into the accommodating part 27 and that its tip reached the bottom or near the bottom of the accommodating space 26. Then, by tightening the tightening screw 35, the exposed portion of the outer conductor 47 of the coaxial cable 46 can be secured to the receiving piece 32 using the tightening piece 34.
Tighten against. Further, the center conductor 49 protruding from the insertion hole 30 is bent to the side as shown by the arrow in FIG. Note that when the internal insulator 48 is inserted up to the housing portion 27 as described above, some of the strands of the outer conductor 47 do not pass around the internal insulator 48 to the center conductor 49 side. is also confirmed through the transparent window 41. In this case, if such a situation is found, the distal end of the coaxial cable 46 is pulled out from the housing space 26, the distal end is arranged, and the above-described insertion is performed again.

Next, the plug 17 is inserted toward the recess 16. In this case, if the orientation of the plug 17 is not correct with respect to the recess 16, the fitting piece 40 comes into contact with the side wall of the recess 16 as shown in FIG. Since it happens to exist, it comes into contact with the connecting piece 20). For this reason, the plug 17 cannot be inserted deeper into the recess 16 than the position shown in FIG. 11, and the operator can easily know that the plug was inserted in an inappropriate direction. Therefore, in this case, change the direction of the plug 17 by 180 degrees and insert it again. When the above operation is performed and the plug 17 is inserted into the recess 16 in the appropriate direction, the lid 42 will fit into the fitting part 18, and the center conductor 49 will come into contact with the connection piece 20. Contact piece 37 contacts connection piece 21 . If this condition occurs, insert the fixing screw rod 43 into the lid body 42.
The plug 17 is fixed to the main body 10 of the power supply box 7 by screwing it into the fastening part 19 via the plug 17 . Further, the waterproof cap 45 through which the coaxial cable 46 has been passed in advance is fitted into the fitting portion 44. By the above operations, the work of connecting the coaxial cable 46 is completed.

(Effect of the invention) As described above, in the present invention, when connecting the coaxial cable 46 to the electronic box 7, the plug 17 is first attached to the coaxial cable 46, and then the plug 17 is connected to the electronic box 7. By inserting the coaxial cable 46 into the recess 16 of the electronic box 7, the coaxial cable 46 can be easily connected to the electronic box 7.

Moreover, when inserting the plug 17 into the recess 16, the fitting piece 40 can be fitted into the fitting part 22 only when the orientation of the plug 17 with respect to the recess 16 is appropriate. There are features that can encourage This means that even if the center conductor connection piece 20 and the outer conductor connection piece 21 in the recess 16 are made small, it is difficult to achieve proper electrical connection of the center conductor 49 of the plug 17 and the contact piece 37 for the outer conductor to them. This has the effect of making it possible to connect the connecting pieces 20 and 21.
By being able to make these small, the material cost thereof can be reduced, and their assembly into the recess 16 can be simplified.
