Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce measuring cost by providing a clear terminal control section to clear the reception state of a receiver without the operation of the mechanism, thereby forming the measuring system inexpensively for the automation of the confirmation of the reception operation of the receiver. CONSTITUTION:A clear SW 6 is provided to bring the receiver into the reception state again, and when the SW 6 is closed, a decoder 5 detects it to bring the state of the receiver into the reception state again. A clear terminal control section 11 receives a luminous quantity signal (a) and forms the same state of the clear SW 6 closed when a changing pattern of the signal is coincident with a predetermined pattern and inputs the result to the clear terminal of the decoder 5. The decoder 5 detects it, clears reception information and to bring the receiver into the receptible state again. Thus, the clear SW depression mechanism to bring the receiver into the reception state again is not required in the automatic operation confirmation and the measuring cost is reduced.

A receiving antenna l receives a carrier wave modulated with a personalized selective calling number and display information. The radio section 2 inputs the carrier wave, demodulates it, and outputs it as a demodulated signal. The waveform shaping circuit 3 inputs the demodulated signal, converts it into a digital signal, and outputs it as a decoded signal. The storage unit 4 stores a self-calling number in advance. The decoder 5 controls the storage unit 4 to retrieve the self-calling number, compares it with the individually selected calling number in the decoded signal input from the waveform shaping circuit 3, and if they match, the flicker signal and the display information following the self-calling number output separately. The display device 7 inputs the display information and displays it using letters, numbers, symbols, etc. The flicker indicator lamp l2 performs a flicker operation based on a flicker signal. The light amount detector 9 converts the external light amount into a light amount signal a and outputs it. The illumination control unit IO receives the light amount signal a, and if a predetermined amount of light is obtained, controls the display illumination unit 8 to turn off the illumination.

The carrier wave generated by the signal generator 23 is modulated by the encoded signal generated by the encoder 22 and sent to the transmitting antenna 24 . The modulated carrier wave is transmitted as a radio wave by a transmitting antenna 24, and a radio selective call receiver with display function (hereinafter referred to as receiver) 25 receives the radio wave. The receiver 25 that has received the radio wave performs a flickering operation of the flicker indicator light and displays the received display information as a response operation. The combination tamei 21 uses the operation detection unit 26 to recognize the operating state of the receiver 25 from the fluff indicator light and display of the receiver 25. If the receiver 25 is performing the receiving operation, the compuator 2l controls the clear SW pressing mechanism to bring the receiver 25 into the receiving ready state again. These steps are repeated to confirm the reception operation of the receiver.

The light amount detector 9 of the receiver 25 converts this light emission pattern into a light amount signal. The clear terminal control section compares this change pattern in the amount of light with a predetermined change pattern, and if they match, outputs a signal to control the clear terminal of the decoder. The decoder detects this signal, clears the reception state, and enters the reception ready state again. By repeating this, it becomes possible to check the reception operation of the receiver 25.

a receiving antenna that receives a carrier wave modulated with an individual selective calling number and subsequent display information; a radio section that inputs the carrier wave received by the receiving antenna and outputs a demodulated signal; and a radio section that inputs the demodulated signal and outputs a decoded signal. a waveform shaping circuit, a storage section that stores a self-calling number, and a self-calling number that controls and reads out the storage section that follows a flicker signal and the self-calling number when the individually selected calling number in the decoded signal matches the self-calling number; A decoder having a clear terminal for separately outputting display information and erasing received information from the outside; and a clear SW connected to the clear terminal of the decoder for instructing the decoder to erase the received information from the outside. a display device that inputs and displays the display information; a display lighting section that illuminates the display device; a light amount detector that detects the amount of external light and outputs a light amount signal according to the amount of light; a lighting control unit that inputs the light amount signal and controls the display illumination unit; and a clear terminal control that inputs the light amount signal and makes a clear terminal of the decoder ready for reception when the light amount detector receives a predetermined light emission pattern. What is claimed is: 1. A radio selective calling receiver with a display function, characterized in that the radio selective calling receiver has a display function, and a flicker indicator lamp that is operated by inputting the flicker signal.
