ーカ3(もしくはセンサ)で原稿1の必要読取部
分2の始点と終点を検出することにより、必要読
取部分を読取るものであつた。したがつて必要読
取部分の始点と終点2ケ所をマーカもしくはセン
サ等でセツトせねばならないし、又始点と終点を
セツトする場合正確にセツトせねばならないとい
う問題を生ずる。

め記憶し、この記憶内容と前記距離測定手段の測
定結果から前記原稿読取手段の位置を自動的に知
らせる位置信号を発生する原稿読取ブロツク記
憶・制御手段と、設定基準位置より原稿読取方向
に配置されるマーカと、前記原稿読取手段の移動
中に前記マーカを検出したとき読取開始準備信号
を発生し、該準備信号に応答して次の読取ブロツ

る。まず原稿読取ブロツク入力部9は第3図に示
すように原稿1をあらかじめ決定された読取ブロ
ツクA,B,C,DおよびEにブロツク分けを行
い、各ブロツク長a,b,,c,dおよびeのデ
ータを原稿読取ブロツク記憶・制御部7へ供給す
る。原稿1の必要読取部分はDブロツクであるた
め、マーカもしくはセンサ11を原稿1の始点
(先端)にセツトし、マーカもしくはセンサ12
をcブロツク中の任意の位置にセツトする。上記
設定後、矢印14に示す方向に原稿の読取走査部
(図示せず)が移動する。ただし、読取り走査は
行なわない。第2図に示す原稿基準点検出部4
は、マーカもしくはセンサ11の出力により読取
走査部が原稿の先端に来たことを検出する。この
検出と同時に図示しない読取走査部の矢印14の
方向への移動距離は、移動距離カウンタ10でカ
ウントされ、その結果が原稿読取ブロツク記憶・
制御部7へ入力する。このとき原稿読取ブロツク
記憶・制御部7は、Aブロツクのブロツク長aの
記憶データと移動距離カウンタ部10の出力デー
タとを比較し、カウンタ部10の出力データが上
記記憶データに充たないと判定したとき、原稿読
取制御部8へAブロツク移動中信号を送出する。
読取走査部が原稿へのAブロツク上を移動し終え
た時、カウンタ部10の出力信号はブロツク長a
の記読データと一致する。このように読取ブロツ
ク記憶・制御部7は、カウンタ部10の出力か
ら、読取走査部がB,C,DあるいはEブロツク
上移動中と判定したとき、B,C,DあるいはE
ブロツク移動中信号を原稿読取制御部8へ出力す
る。読取走査部がCブロツク上を移動してセンサ
12の検出位置に差しかかつたとき、このセンサ
出力によつて原稿読取開始検出部5は、読取開始
準備信号を出力する。この読取開始準備信号を原
稿読取開始検出部5から受けた原稿読取制御部8
(この時原稿読取ブロツク記憶・制御部7からC
ブロツク移動中信号も受けている)は、次のブロ
ツクすなわちDブロツクを必要読取部に識別セツ
トする。読取走査部がブロツクDに差しかかつた
とき、原稿読取制御部8には、原稿読取ブロツク
記憶・制御部7からDブロツク移動中信号が入力
する。このとき原稿読取制御部8は、Dブロツク

で、精度の高い必要読取部分を得る事ができる。
なお実施例では必要読取部分が1ケ所の場合の読
取位置自動制御について述べたが、2ケ所以上の
必要読取部分を得ることも可能であることは明白
である。
