When the conductive particles are metal, the shape of the particles is close to an isotropic shape such as a sphere, and in the case of carbon plaque, the shape is close to an isotropic shape such as a sphere, except for plate-shaped particles such as graphite. be. Conductive ink has these conductive particles dispersed in an organic binder, and when it is applied onto a substrate and dried, the conductive particles come into contact with each other and exhibit conductivity. By applying such conductive ink to a substrate, it is possible to create a conductive film in any desired pattern. Note that the conductive film referred to herein includes not only a film with high conductivity but also a film with low conductivity, that is, a resistive film having a certain resistance value.

ことを目的とする.To ensure continuity, the conductive ink must contain a large amount of conductive particles so that they can easily come into contact with each other. However, when considering printing suitability such as the viscosity of conductive ink, it is not possible to increase the proportion of conductive particles indefinitely. Therefore, conductive films formed using conductive inks of such composition have uncertain conductivity, and it is difficult to avoid large variations in conductivity or resistance values. In particular, it has been difficult to control the amount of conductive particles mixed in and the degree of dispersion in order to obtain a specific resistance value. This invention eliminates these drawbacks and makes it possible to obtain a uniform resistance value. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a conductive ink that can form a conductive film with a conductive film, and a method of manufacturing a conductive film using this conductive ink.

Furthermore, the method for producing a conductive film of the present invention is configured to screen print a conductive ink containing conductive whiskers, conductive particles, and an organic binder as main components onto a substrate. This invention will be explained in more detail. As the conductive whisker, whisker crystals such as carbon or conductive potassium titanate are used. Further, the conductive whiskers do not have to be crystallographic whiskers, but may be conductors similar in shape, for example, in the form of fibers.
The conductive whiskers have a length of 20 um or less, a diameter of 0.05 to 1.0 g m, and preferably 0.1 to 0.2 μm.
It is best to use one with an aspect ratio of around 100. By using conductive whiskers with such a shape, the conductive whiskers pass through the screen openings of the screen plate, making it possible to use conductive ink in normal screen printing. Examples of conductive particles include metals such as silver, copper, and nickel, reduced metal oxides with conductivity such as ITO (indium tin oxide), or organic conductive materials such as conductive carbon black and graphite. can be used. Preferably, a carbon plaque with a specific resistance value similar to that of a conductive whisker should be used. Organic binders include polyester, vinyl chloride,
It is best to use common thermoplastic or thermosetting resin binders such as acrylic, urethane, and epoxy. The amount of conductive whiskers to be mixed differs depending on the conductive particles having different specific resistance values and specific gravity, but is suitably 1 to 50% by weight of the conductive particles. In addition, in order to obtain a stable conductive film by printing, it is best to perform screen printing, which allows thick film printing, but in that case, the conductive whiskers pass through the screen, so the conductive whiskers are If the content is too high, problems such as clogging may occur. For example, when carbon black is used as the conductive particles, it is suitable for screen printing if the conductive ink contains 2 to 10% by weight of conductive whiskers and 20 to 60% by weight of carbon black. When a conductive ink contains only conductive particles as a conductor, it is difficult to control the dispersion stability and viscosity of the conductive particles. On the other hand, when only conductive whiskers are included, the intertwining of the conductive whiskers becomes uneven and uniform conductivity cannot be imparted.

Since conductive whiskers have a needle-like shape, conduction occurs by bridging between conductive whiskers or conductive particles in conductive ink. Therefore, compared to conductive ink containing only conductive particles as conductors, even a small amount of conductive particles provides reliable conduction and contributes to uniformity of the conductivity or resistance value of the conductive film. In addition, it is easy to improve printability and set appropriate values for viscosity and thixotropy, which are essential for uniformity of resistance values, because there is more freedom in setting the ratio of organic binder and conductive particles. becomes.

This conductive ink was printed on a polyester film in a pattern of 300 x 300 ms+ using a 1200 screen and dried at 105°C for 30 minutes to obtain a conductive film. できる.The conductive ink of this invention is composed of conductive whiskers, conductive particles, and an organic binder. Because of their shape, conductive whiskers have a great effect of intervening between conductive whiskers or conductive particles to conduct electricity, and compared to conductive ink that only contains conductive particles as conductors, they have a much smaller shape. The uniformity of the electrical conductivity or resistance value of the printed film is large. Furthermore, even if the amount of conductive particles is small, continuity can be achieved reliably. Furthermore, since there is greater freedom in setting the ratio of conductor and organic binder to an appropriate value in order to obtain the desired resistance value, it is possible to control viscosity and thixotropic properties to appropriate values and form a uniform conductive film. It becomes a conductive ink that can be used as a conductive ink. In addition, the method for producing a conductive film of the present invention screen-prints a conductive ink containing conductive whiskers, conductive particles, and an organic binder onto a substrate, so that a conductive film having a uniform resistance value can be produced. It can be easily manufactured.
