Moxibustion is a therapy performed by heating acupuncture points scattered around the body, and "moxa" has traditionally been used as the heating means. In other words, an appropriate amount of moxa is placed in a designated pot and the heat generated by burning the moxa is utilized.
Recently, devised moxibustion products have been developed that allow moxa to be placed in a solid container or in a pouch and applied to the affected area without using a flame to produce moxibustion effects. However, in reality, the effect of moxibustion is obtained by heating the acupuncture points, and moxibustion that is not heated reduces its effectiveness by half. That is,
The heat won't penetrate inside unless you get burned, so moxibustion therapy becomes effective by enduring the heat to a certain extent, but unlike traditional methods, you can place moxa on a pressure point and set fire to the moxa. The method of attaching it and waiting for it to burn out is troublesome and time-consuming, and the moxa often gets misaligned or rolls down.

First of all, the electric moxibustion device has a built-in heater as a heat source, and is equipped with a controller for controlling the amount of heat generated from the heater.
Since this moxibustion tool is held in the hand and applied to the skin to perform moxibustion, the size of the main body is not particularly limited, but it has a shape that is easy to grip or grasp. Further, the temperature is controlled so that the amount of heat generated from the heater does not exceed a certain value, and the amount of heat generated is controlled so as to increase by the pressing force with which the moxibustion tool body is pressed against the acupuncture point.

Furthermore, as mentioned above, the moxibustion device uses the heat of the heater, but the main body or the tip of the main body is made of ceramic material so that far infrared rays are emitted from the surface that contacts the skin (pressing surface). It consists of However, the main body or the tip end of the main body is not limited to a ceramic molded product, and may be coated with ceramic paint only on the surface.

The main body 1 is a molded product made of ceramic,
It has a cavity 5 in its center shaft, a heater 2 is inserted into the cavity 5, and a heat transfer rod is attached to the bottom of the cavity 5 in order to guide the heat generated from the heater 2 to the skin contact plate 4. 3 is inserted in contact with the heater 2. Further, asbestos 6 is pasted around the cavity 5 to prevent the heat of the heater 2 from escaping to the outer peripheral surface 7 of the main body 1. A cord 8 for conducting electricity to the heater 2 is connected to the heater 2, a cap 9 is fixed to the entrance of the cavity 5, and the bottom (tip) of the main body 1 is covered with the skin contact plate 4. There is. Here, the skin contact plate 4 is made of plastic or rubber, and is made of a material that is comfortable to the skin and has high heat resistance.

FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the present invention, which has the same basic shape as the moxibustion tool shown in FIG. The far-infrared radiation plate 10 is made of a ceramic material that emits far-infrared rays even when heated by the heater 2. Therefore, the main body 1 may be made of plastic instead of ceramic.

By the way, as shown in the above embodiments, the moxibustion tool of the present invention can have any form, but the amount of heat generated from the heater 2 is proportional to the pressing force F. Control is such that if the compressive force acting on the piece 11 is increased, the current increases and the amount of heat generated Q increases. Therefore, the main body 1 is provided with a sensor for detecting the pressing force F, and the output signal from the sensor is used to control the current by a controller. Furthermore, the relationship between the pressing force F and the amount of heat generated Q can be changed using an operation piece provided on the controller,
That is, the electric circuit is configured so that the range of the pressing force F can be changed.
