Claims

[Scope of Utility Model Registration Claim] A lightning arrester disconnecting device inserted between a system conductor and a lightning arrester to electrically disconnect them when a fault current occurs, comprising: a fixed electrode provided in an insulator tube, and a lightning arrester facing the fixed electrode. A movable electrode that moves toward and away from the fixed electrode; A biasing means for moving the movable electrode apart from a fixed electrode; A movable electrode holding means that maintains the movable electrode in a closed circuit state during normal operation; Heating that is heated by the lightning arrester fault current. The movable electrode holding means is provided with a bimetal attached to a conductor and an electromagnet excited by a surge arrester fault current, and when a surge arrester fault current occurs, the movable electrode holding means is moved from the movable electrode by at least one of the deformation force of the bimetal and the magnetic force of the electromagnet.
