ーナル部を上方から軸受する複数の支持部を有す
る吸気側カムホルダ部と、排気弁用のカム軸のジ
ヤーナル部を上方から軸受する複数の支持部を有
する排気側カムホルダ部とを一体に連結して成る
吸排気共用のカムホルダを取付け、該カムホルダ
の前記各カムホルダ部に、該各カムホルダ部の前
記各支持部間に跨らせて前記各カム軸のカムの回
転軌跡を少なくとも両側から覆うリブを形成した
ことを特徴とするDOHC型エンジン。 2 前記カムホルダの前記リブに、前記各カム軸
のジヤーナル部に潤滑油を供給するジヤーナル部
用油路を穿設したことを特徴とする請求項1記載
のDOHC型エンジン。 3 前記カムホルダの前記リブに、前記各カム軸
のカムの外面に潤滑油を供給するカム用油路を穿
設したことを特徴とする請求項1記載のDOHC
型エンジン。 4 前記カムホルダに、前記各カムホルダ部の上
面を覆う該カムホルダに一体又は別体のビーム部
材を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のい
ずれかに記載のDOHC型エンジン。 5 シリンダヘツドに、吸気弁用のカム軸のジヤ
ーナル部を上方から軸受する複数の支持部を有す
る吸気側カムホルダ部と、排気弁用のカム軸のジ
ヤーナル部を上方から軸受する複数の支持部を有
する排気側カムホルダ部とを一体に連結して成る
吸排気共用のカムホルダを取付けたDOHC型エ
ンジンであつて、前記両カム軸の少なくとも一方
のカム軸に低速バルブタイミング用の低速カムと
高速バルブタイミング用の高速カムとを設けて、
バルブタイミングを低速バルブタイミングと高速
バルブタイミングとに切換自在としたものにおい
て、該カムホルダの前記各カムホルダ部に、該各
カムホルダ部の前記各支持部間に跨らせて前記各
カム軸のカムの回転軌跡を少なくとも両側から覆
うリブを形成したことを特徴とするDOHC型エ
ンジン。 6 前記カムホルダの前記リブに、前記各カム軸
のジヤーナル部に潤滑油を供給するジヤーナル部
用油路を穿設したことを特徴とする請求項5記載
のDOHC型エンジン。 7 前記カムホルダに、前記各カムホルダ部の上
面を覆う該カムホルダに一体又は別体のビーム部
材を設けたことを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記
載のDOHC型エンジン。 8 前記カムホルダの前記リブと前記ビーム部材
との一方に前記各カム軸の低速カムの外面に潤滑
油を供給する低速カム用油路と、他方に該各カム
軸の高速カムの外面に潤滑油を供給する高速カム
用油路とを各穿設したことを特徴とする請求項7
