    記録媒体１８に形成された画像を加熱手段２８に
    より加熱定着するようにした熱定着装置において
    、 前記加熱手段２８による記録媒体１８の加熱時
    に発生するガスを吸引する吸引手段３３を設け、
    その吸引手段３３の吸引口３５を前記圧接部材３
    ０に対向させたことを特徴とする熱定着装置。
