素に所定の濃度階調を与えるようにした濃度階調
制御型のサーマルプリンタにおいて、 前記複数の発熱抵抗素子の全体的な抵抗値のデ
ータを与える抵抗値データ保持手段と、 前記抵抗値データ保持手段からの抵抗値データ
に基づいて、単位通電サイクル内に前記複数の発
熱抵抗素子に印加される電圧のデユーテイ比を調
整する手段と、 を具備することを特徴とする濃度階調制御型サー
マルプリンタ。 (2) 1つの印画ライン上の複数の画素に1対1
で対応する複数の発熱抵抗素子を単位通電サイク
ルの整数倍の時間だけ通電させることにより各画
素に所定の濃度階調を与えるようにした濃度階調
制御型のサーマルプリンタにおいて、 通電時間−濃度特性曲線の非線形性を補正する
ための各単位通電サイクル毎のデユーテイ比のデ
ータを与える特性曲線補正データ保持手段と、 前記特性曲線補正データ保持手段からのデユー
テイ比データに応じて、単位通電サイクル内に前
記複数の発熱抵抗素子に印加される電圧のデユー
テイ比を変える手段と、 を具備することを特徴とする濃度階調制御型サー
マルプリンタ。 (3) 1つの印画ライン上の複数の画素に1対1
