図は第１の偏光膜１５と第２の偏光膜１９によつ
て反射されるＳ波成分の状態を示す図、第６図は
本考案にかかる偏光ビームスプリツタの第２の実
施例を示す側面図である。 図中、１，１′……偏光ビームスプリツタ、１
１，１３……直角二等辺三角プリズム、１５……
第１の偏光膜、１７……平行平板（第１の平行平
板）、１９……第２の偏光膜、２１……第３の偏
光膜、２３……第２の平行平板、である。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) ２つの直角二等辺三角プリズムの間に、少
    なくとも誘電体の多層膜からなる第１の偏光膜と
    、透明な材料からなる平行平板と、誘電体の多層
    膜からなる第２の偏光膜をこの順番で介在せしめ
    てこれらを一体化するとともに、前記平行平板の
    厚みｄを、 ｄ＝ｍλ√２（２ｎ１−ｎ２） 但し、ｎ１：平行平板の屈折率 ｎ２：直角二等辺三角プリズムの屈折率 λ：入射光の波長 ｍ：整数 としたことを特徴とする偏光ビームスプリツタ
    。 (2) ２つの直角二等辺三角プリズムの間に、誘
    電体の多層膜からなる第１の偏光膜と、透明な材
    料からなる第１の平行平板と、誘電体の多層膜か
    らなる第２の偏光膜と、透明な材料からなる第２
    の平行平板と、誘電体の多層膜からなる第３の偏
    光膜とをこの順番で介在せしめてこれらを一体化
    するとともに、前記第１と第２の平行平板の厚み
    ｄをそれぞれ、 ｄ＝ｍλ√２（２ｎ１−ｎ２） 但し、ｎ１：平行平板の屈折率 ｎ２：直角二等辺三角プリズムの屈折率 λ：入射光の波長 ｍ：整数 としたことを特徴とする偏光ビームスプリツタ
    。
