「従来の技術」
従来の洗車用ローラは無数の柔軟な合成樹脂長
繊維を回動軸に植設してなるものであつたため、
回動速度を上げて長繊維を車体に叩きつけること
によつて泥等の附着物を分離し散水で洗浄するも
のであつた。そのため回転数を上げる必要があ
り、かつ汚水が飛散するばかりでなく洗浄後の拭
き取りを行うことは困難である。特に長繊維を車
体に叩きつけるため車体表面の塗装に無数の微細
な損傷を与え、表面の光沢を消失するばかりでな
く防錆力を著しく低下させた。又細かな多角形或
は円形に編織或は成形した金属又は合成樹脂板を
外周円形に打抜いて弾性円形板となし同円形板よ
り径の小さいスペーサーを介して同円形板を回動
軸に支持したロールブラシがあるが同円形板の外
周辺に形成される上記細かな多角形又は円形の打
抜きによる小突起によつて被研磨体表面に研磨又
は研削或は洗浄するものであるため被研磨体表面
の塗装に無数の微細な損傷を与え、表面の光沢を
消失し防錆力を著しく低下し、かつ上記円形板は
弾力性を有しそのためロールブラシの外周面は比
較的硬いため表面の凹凸にならつて面接触させる

つて発散させ(絞り出し)て脱水し、脱水スポン
ジ板2を低速回転させて上述同様に自動車5を移
動させると、車体表面6上の洗浄水滴は同スポン
ジ板2に吸水されこれを同板2で拭き取ることが

本発明を図面に示す実施例について説明する
と、水平方向又は垂直方向の回動軸1に軸方向間
隔tを置いて複数の吸水性柔軟スポンジ板2を互
に平行にかつ回動軸1と直角に設けてなるもので
ある。上記スポンジ板2の外周は円形(第2図、
第3図)、角形(第4図)或は波形(第5図)等
であつて回動軸1の回りに同心状に設けられる。
上記スポンジ板2は交互に斜交して設けても差支
えないし回動軸1の回りに螺旋状に設けても良
い。螺旋状に設けるとそのピツチが間隔tとな
る。上記スポンジ板2は柔軟で曲り易いが比較的
腰が強く吸水するに充分な厚さを有するものであ
る。上記回動軸1は第6図に示すように洗車機4
の上部及び両側部に支持し、駆動装置(図示して
いない)に接続して切換装置により低速及び高速
回転させることができる。そして上記回動軸1の
位置は第6図に示すようにスポンジ板2の低速及
び高速回転による遠心力で同板2の外周部側面が
被洗車体表面6に面状に接触するよう配置せら
れ、又上記間隔tも上記面状接触部が形成される
ように保持される。尚図中3で示すものは切込み

ポンジ板2の外周の面状接触部で上記表面6が殆
