[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention involves arranging a plurality of leaf-shaped elastic contact pieces made of conductive metal strips in parallel, and driving a movable elastic contact piece among them. This relates to a leaf switch that electrically opens and closes by contacting or separating from a mating fixed elastic contact piece.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, this type of leaf switch is widely known in which the bases of a plurality of leaf-shaped elastic contact pieces are held by a synthetic resin base that is embedded and molded. However, when performing such embedded molding,
The elastic contact pieces are deformed by the pressure during molding, making adjustment between the elastic contact pieces difficult, requiring molding equipment, which increases costs, or creating burrs due to molding. . Moreover, since the base portion occupies a relatively large volume, there is a drawback that a considerable amount of wasted space is required during use.

[Purpose of the invention] The purpose of the invention is, in order to improve such problems, to develop a small and inexpensive device that can fix the bases of multiple elastic contact pieces by extremely simple means without using embedded molding. Our goal is to provide leaf switches.

[Summary of the invention] The gist of the invention to achieve the above objectives is as follows:
In a leaf switch in which a plurality of elastic contact pieces made of conductive metal strips are arranged in parallel, a plurality of clamp pieces are protruded from both sides of the base of at least one of the elastic contact pieces, and the elastic contact pieces and the other elastic contact piece are connected to each other. The leaf switch is characterized in that an insulating spacer is interposed between the leaf switches and the base of the other elastic contact piece is held by the clamp piece.

FIG. 1 shows a side view of an embodiment of a leaf switch according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 shows a back view of its base. Here, among two elastic contact pieces 1 and 2 made of conductive metal strips, the first elastic contact piece 1 is a movable elastic contact piece, and the second elastic contact piece 2 is a fixed elastic contact piece. An example of a case is shown below. Note that 1a and 2a are contact points of the respective elastic contact pieces 1 and 2. On both sides of the base of the first elastic contact piece 1, an appropriate number of clamp pieces 3 as shown expanded in FIG. 3 are integrally provided, and the first elastic contact piece 1 and the second elastic contact piece 2 and on the lower side of the second elastic contact piece 2, these clamp pieces 3 are bent to the outside of the second elastic contact piece 2 to form an elastic contact. By holding the piece 2, the bases of both the elastic contact pieces 1 and 2 are fastened together. And 5
is a connection end for connecting to a lead wire or the like.
Further, in order to maintain a predetermined drive stroke with respect to the distance between the elastic contact pieces 1 and 2, it is preferable that one or both of the elastic contact pieces be widened as shown in the figure.
At this time, the width of the insulating spacers 4a and 4b is as follows:
If the width is not wider than the width of the second elastic contact piece 2, there is a risk that the first elastic contact piece 1 and the second elastic contact piece 2 will come into contact with each other via the clamp piece 3.

The insulating spacers 4a and 4b can be either hard or soft as long as they have electrical insulation properties, but for example, as shown in FIG.
and the second elastic contact piece 2, a double-sided adhesive tape 4a is placed between the
is used, and when another single-sided adhesive tape 4b is bonded between the second elastic contact piece 2 and the clamp piece 3 with the adhesive surface facing the second elastic contact piece 2, the clamp piece 3 tightens. Both the force and the adhesive force of the adhesive tapes 4a, 4b make it possible to reliably connect the bases of both elastic contact pieces 1, 2.

Moreover, even without using separate adhesive tapes 4a and 4b, the first elastic contact piece 1 can be attached as shown in FIG.
and the second elastic contact piece 2, bend both sides of the double-sided adhesive tape 4c interposed between the second elastic contact piece 2 and the clamp piece 2 from both sides of the second elastic contact piece 2 to the outer surface. 3, one double-sided adhesive tape 4c is sufficient.

In this way, adhesive tape 4 is used as insulating spacer 4.
By using a, 4b, and 4c, the thickness of the fastening base of the elastic contact pieces 1 and 2 can be made extremely thin. However, the insulating spacer 4 does not necessarily need to be an adhesive tape, and may be a slightly thicker flat plate or sheet. Even in that case, it is desirable to interpose an adhesive between the insulating spacer 4 and each elastic contact piece 1, 2.

Figure 6 shows the leaf switch on the printed wiring board P.
This is an example of the case where it is attached to. Fig. 6a shows a case where the connecting end 5 is made into an open leg shape to make it an insertion type, b shows a case where the connecting end 5 is bent at a right angle to make a vertical reflow type, and c shows a case where the connecting end 6 is made into an elastic contact type. piece 1, 2
The figure shows a case in which it protrudes in the lateral direction and is made into a lateral reflow type. In either case, attachment to the printed wiring board P is easy and can be accommodated in a small space.

In the above embodiment, the case where the clamp piece 3 is provided on the movable elastic contact piece 1 side is shown, but it is of course possible to provide it on the fixed elastic contact piece 2 side, or it may be provided on both sides. There is no problem. Furthermore, it goes without saying that the present invention can be similarly applied even when there are three or more elastic contact pieces.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the leaf switch according to the present invention can easily fix the base portions of a plurality of elastic contact pieces to each other by using the clamp pieces provided integrally with the elastic contact pieces. Therefore, it is possible to avoid all the problems of the conventional embedded molding described above, such as deformation of the elastic contact piece, high cost, and occurrence of burrs. Furthermore, since the thickness of the fastening base of the elastic contact piece can be made much smaller than in the conventional case, it is extremely advantageous for downsizing, and it can be attached to a printed wiring board by both the insertion type and the reflow type. It has the advantage of being easy.
