- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 トラツク幅方向に磁束のリターンパスコアを有
する単磁極型磁気ヘツドにおいて、 金属強磁性膜主磁極のトラツク幅よりも幅の広
い非磁性体コアのトラツク幅方向の両側面に金属
強磁性膜をリターンパスコアとして配置させたコ
ア半体と、非磁性体コアのトラツク幅部に金属強
磁性膜主磁極を被着形成したコア半体とを上記リ
ターンパスコアと金属強磁性膜主磁極とが、少な
くとも媒体との摺動面で所定間隔離間しており、
かつ上記トラツク幅よりも幅の広い非磁性体コア
と金属強磁性膜主磁極とがお互いに重なり合うよ
うに配置させたことを特徴とする単磁極型磁気ヘ
ツド。
