[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Industrial Application Field> The present invention is directed to create a space between articles loaded at regular intervals in a cylindrical packaging material from both sides inward (towards the center). The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for packaging a gusseted package, which is folded and sealed in the transverse direction while forming a fold (gusset) at the relevant portion to form a gusseted package. <Prior art> Conventionally, a band-shaped packaging material is continuously transferred to form a cylinder, both ends of which are polymerized and sealed to form a cylinder, and items are inserted into the cylinder at regular intervals. Both sides of the space between the items are bent inward, and while forming a fold (gusset), the area is sealed in a direction perpendicular to the direction of transport of the cylindrical packaging material. However, a method for continuously manufacturing a package having a gusset is known as in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 16546/1983. <Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, in the above-mentioned conventional product, when forming the gusset, the corners (twill lines) of the item in the cylindrical body are used as guides, and both sides of the cavity of the cylindrical packaging material are formed into gusset claws. Therefore, if the shape of the item inside the cylindrical body is rectangular as shown in Figure 11 and has appropriate rigidity, a beautiful gusset fold is formed. As shown in the figure, in the case of elliptical or irregular shapes, or in the case of soft items, the folding of the gusset becomes irregular, resulting in a disadvantage that a beautiful package with gussets cannot be obtained. The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned background, and its purpose is to always be able to accurately fold the gusset regardless of the shape of the item to be packaged, and to obtain a beautiful package with gussets. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method and apparatus for packaging a package with a gusset. <Means for Solving the Problems> In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the method for packaging a gusseted package, which is the first invention, uses a cylindrical structure in which voids are formed at regular intervals and articles are sequentially inserted. While continuously moving the packaging material in the horizontal direction, at a predetermined position, both sides of the cylindrical packaging material located at least around the cavity side of the article located before and after the cavity are moved, respectively. A pair of suction plates arranged on the outside are used to suction and hold the gusset in a substantially vertical position, and while maintaining this state, the gusset forming claws are moved inward between the suction plates placed before and after the cavity. Then, after bending the hollow part of the cylindrical packaging material inward to form a gusset, and then sealing and cutting the gusset forming part with the upper and lower seal members, the suction force of the suction plate is released, and the cylindrical The shaped packaging material is spaced apart from the adsorption plate to form a gusseted packaging body. In addition, in the packaging device for gusseted packages according to the second aspect of the invention, which is suitable for carrying out the above method, the cylindrical packaging material into which the articles are inserted at regular intervals is moved upward and downward to the discharge side of the transfer conveyor that continuously transfers the cylindrical packaging material into which the articles are inserted at regular intervals. An endless conveyor for transporting goods is provided in a part thereof with a stopper at a certain interval so as not to hinder the vertical movement of the sealing member, and before and after the upper and lower sealing members,
A pair of suction plates are provided for suctioning and holding at least both sides of the cylindrical packaging material located around the upper and lower sealing members of the article located before and after the upper and lower sealing members, and the suction plates and A pair of gusset forming claws for bending the cylindrical packaging material inward from both outsides is provided between the upper and lower sealing members, and the upper and lower sealing members, suction plates, and gusset forming claws are connected to the cylindrical packaging material. It is configured to be able to reciprocate a certain distance in the direction of transport. <Function> When the space between the front and rear items reaches between the upper and lower sealing members, the cylindrical packaging material around the upper and lower sealing members of both items is removed by the suction action of the suction plate. The cylindrical packaging material is brought into tension by adsorbing both sides thereof. In this state, the upper and lower sealing members move from above and below toward the cavity to engage the cavity, and the gusset forming claws protrude toward both sides of the cylindrical packaging material. As a result, both side surfaces of the cylindrical packaging material are bent inward to form a gusset, and the space is held and sealed from above and below by the upper and lower sealing members. When forming the gusset, the cylindrical packaging material is in a tight state, so a clean gusset can be formed at a desired position regardless of the shape, hardness, etc. of the item. <Embodiment> FIGS. 1 to 10 show an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a cylindrical packaging material made of plastic or other suitable material that is continuous in a band shape. 3 is a conveyor for transporting the cylindrical packaging material 1; A is a seal cutting mechanism in which the upper and lower seal members 5 and 6 engage the cylindrical packaging material in the cavity 2 (between the items a and the items a) of the cylindrical packaging material 1 from above and below. The cylinder 7, the lever 8, and the links 9, 10, 1 are moved horizontally for a certain period of time, and after completing the sealing and cutting of the cylindrical packaging material 1, the cylinder 7, the lever 8, and the links 9, 10, 1 are separated from each other.
1. It is composed of each pivot pin 10a, a guide column 12, a guide roller 13, etc. 14 is a cylindrical packaging material cutting blade;
When the cylindrical packaging material 1 is completely gripped, the pin 15,
The seal portion of the cylindrical packaging material 1 is cut through a cutting blade actuation mechanism B consisting of a lever 16, a spring 17, and the like. Note that the seal cutting mechanism described above is not limited to that shown in this embodiment. Reference numeral 18 denotes an endless conveyor for transporting goods, and as shown in an enlarged view in FIG.
and is stretched so as to be horizontally movable together with the upper and lower seal members 5 and 6 while maintaining the interval between the spacing parts 19. Reference numeral 20 indicates a sending roller forming the gap portion 19 in the endless conveyor 18 for transporting goods; 21 indicates a receiving roller; both rollers 20, 2
1 is supported by shafts 25 and 26 on support plates 23 and 24 of an endless conveyor extending movable stand 22, as shown in the figure. Reference numerals 27 and 28 are rollers, which, like the rollers 20 and 21 described above, are attached to the moving frame 22 on which the endless conveyor is stretched. 29 is a fixed board 30
This is a roller supported on a support plate 31 attached to the roller, and is used to tension the endless conveyor 18 for transporting goods. Further, the endless conveyor extending movable frame 22 is configured to reciprocate on a fixed base plate 30 by means of a crank 32 and a lever 33. Reference numeral 34 denotes a gusset forming claw, which is attached to a slider 36 that is slidably supported on a guide rod 35 provided at a predetermined position of the endless conveyor tension movable frame 22, as shown in FIG. Therefore, it is always pulled toward the front side, that is, in the direction away from the cylindrical packaging material 1. Reference numeral 38 denotes an operating cam plate for the gusset forming pawl 34, which is attached to a predetermined position on both sides of the upper seal member 5 of the seal cutting mechanism A as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8. When the upper sealing member 5 is lowered, that is, when the upper sealing member 5 grips the cylindrical packaging material, the gusset forming claw 34 comes into contact with a predetermined position of the gusset forming claw 34 to project it toward the cylindrical packaging material 1 side to a predetermined position, Both sides of the cylindrical packaging material 1 are bent to form folds 46 (gussets), and when the upper seal member 5 is raised, it returns to its original position by the restoring force of the spring 37. . The above is an example of a seal cutting mechanism and a gusset forming device according to the present invention; however, it is not limited to the above-mentioned mechanism and device shown in this embodiment as long as it performs the same operation as the present invention. It's not something you can do. Reference numeral 40 denotes a suction plate, which has a large number of suction holes 42 on the cylindrical packaging material contacting surface 41 as shown in FIG. seal member 5,
The cylindrical packaging material 1 is attached to a frame 44 constructed on the endless conveyor-stretching movable frame 22 so as to be movable forward and backward relative to the upper surface and both side surfaces of the cylindrical packaging material 1 located at the front and rear of the cylindrical packaging material 6 . Note that among the suction plates 40 , the upper suction plate 40
may not use this. Reference numeral 45 denotes an operating cylinder for each of the suction plates 40 , and the operation of each of the actuation cylinders 45 and the suction operation of each suction plate 40 are caused by the operation of the upper and lower seal members 5 and 6, that is, the upper and lower seal members 5 and 6. Prior to gripping the cylindrical packaging material 1 from above and below, suction plates 4 are placed on the top and both sides of the cylindrical packaging material 1.
0 is placed nearby, and the cylindrical packaging material 1 is removed by suction action.
The upper surface and both side surfaces are respectively attracted to the respective cylindrical packaging material abutting surfaces 41 of the suction plate 40, and in this state, the gusset forming claws 34 are actuated to form gussets 46 on both sides of the cylindrical packaging material 1. At the same time, the upper and lower seal members 5 and 6 start to engage, and when the seal members are released, a limit switch, an electromagnetic It is designed to be operated via a suitable drive mechanism such as a valve or relay. In addition, when the suction plate 40 separates from the top surface and both side surfaces of the cylindrical packaging material 1, it is even better if the instantaneous suction action is switched to the blowing action to improve the separation of the film. In the figure, C is a bag making machine that continuously forms a band-shaped packaging material F into a cylindrical shape. Reference numeral D denotes an article transfer device, in which an article transfer claw d1 for inserting the article a at regular intervals into the cylindrical packaging material 1 formed into a tube shape by the bag making machine C is connected to an endless chain d2.
It is attached to. d3 is a sprocket, d4 is a table, and d5 is a pawl passage groove. E
is a well-known center sealer, which serves to integrally seal the overlapping portions of both ends of the cylindrical packaging material 1 and to feed the cylindrical packaging material 1. Next, to explain the operation of the above-described embodiment, the cylindrical packaging material 1 into which items a are inserted at regular intervals is transferred to the seal cutting mechanism A side by the transfer device 3, and the space between the items a is transferred to the seal cutting mechanism A side. When the partition part 2 reaches between the upper and lower seal members 5 and 6 of the seal cutting mechanism A , the suction plate 40 approaches the top surface and both side surfaces of the cylindrical packaging material 1, and the suction action causes the suction plate 40 to close the cylindrical packaging material 1. The upper surface and both side surfaces of the packaging material 1 are suctioned to the cylindrical packaging material abutting surface 41 of the suction plate 40 to put the cylindrical packaging material 1 in a tensioned state, and the upper and lower seal members 5 and 6 close to the air space. 2 toward the space 2 side from above and below. At this time, a cam plate 38 attached to the upper sealing member 5 causes the gusset forming claws 34 to protrude toward both sides of the cylindrical packaging material 1 as shown in FIG. is bent inward to form a gazette 46, and the space 2 is held from above and below by the upper and lower seal members 5 and 6, and this state is maintained to form the upper and lower seal members 5, 6. A movable pedestal 30 to which the cylindrical packaging material 1 is attached is moved horizontally for a certain period of time by the action of a crank 32 to seal and cut the cylindrical packaging material 1. Further, after the seal is cut, the upper and lower seal members release their grip and return to their original positions; at this time, the gusset forming claws 34 and the movable frame 3
0 also returns to its original position, and the suction plate 40 also stops its suction action and returns to its original position in preparation for the next operation.
Thereafter, the same operations as described above are repeated to form packages 47 having gussets 46 one after another. <Effects of the Invention> As described above, according to the present invention, the space between the articles inserted at regular intervals in a cylindrical packaging material is bent inward from both sides, and the abutment area is bent inward from both sides. When seal cutting is performed in the transverse direction while forming folds (gussets) in the package to form a package, both sides of the cylindrical packaging material located before and behind the upper and lower seal members that perform the seal cutting are operated in synchronization with the gusset forming operation. Since the cylindrical packaging material is drawn to the outside on both sides by suction plates provided in such a manner that the gusset is formed by tensioning the cylindrical packaging material, it is possible to prevent the product from having an elliptical or irregular shape. Or even if it is soft, it will not cause any problem in forming the gazette.
Therefore, a correct gusset can be formed without causing the cylindrical packaging material to lose its shape, and therefore a package with a beautiful packaging shape that does not lose its shape can be obtained.

[Scope of Claims] 1. A cylindrical packaging material in which voids are formed at regular intervals and articles are sequentially inserted therein, and the products are continuously moved in the horizontal direction, and the products are located before and after the voids at predetermined positions. Both sides of the cylindrical packaging material located around at least the cavity side are suctioned and held substantially vertically by a pair of suction plates respectively disposed outside the both sides, and the state is further maintained. While maintaining the gusset, the gusset forming claw is moved inward between suction plates arranged before and after the cavity to bend the cavity of the cylindrical packaging material inward to form a gusset. After the gusset forming part is sealed and cut by the upper and lower seal members, the suction force of the suction plate is released, and the cylindrical packaging material is separated from the suction plate to form a gusseted package. How to package the package. 2. On the discharge side of the transfer conveyor that continuously transfers cylindrical packaging materials into which items are inserted at regular intervals, a part is provided at regular intervals so as not to obstruct the vertical movement of the upper and lower seal members. An endless conveyor for transporting products is installed before and after the upper and lower seal members, and both sides of the cylindrical packaging material are located at least around the upper and lower seal member sides of the products located before and after the upper and lower seal members. a pair of suction plates for suctioning and holding the cylindrical packaging material, and a pair of gusset forming claws for bending the cylindrical packaging material inward from both outsides between the suction plates and the upper and lower seal members. A packaging device for a package with a gusset, characterized in that the upper and lower seal members, the adsorption plate, and the gusset forming claw are configured to be able to reciprocate a certain distance in the direction of transport of the cylindrical packaging material.
