Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent vapor from intruding into the inside of a cover by screwing a set screw through a gasket of an elastic body at the time of fixing a radiating plate to a plastic molded part with the set screw. CONSTITUTION:A cover 1 of a rice cooker is constituted so that a cover heater is provided on the inside of the cover 1, and a radiating plate 3 for covering the lower face of the cover heater is fixed to a plastic formed part of the inside of the cover. At the time of fixing the radiating plate 3 to the plastic formed part 4, a set screw 5 is screwed through a gasket 6 made of silicone rubber. Therefore, even if a difference of thermal deformation is generated to some extent between the radiating plate 3 and the formed part 4, a gasket 6 fills up a shift between the radiating plate 3 and the formed part 4, and accordingly, it does not occur that vapor leaks from this junction part.
