Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 複数種の現金をその金種毎に対応して設けた複
数の検出手段により検出し、この検出結果に基づ
き電気信号に変換して得られた情報により走行し
てきた現金の真偽を判別する現金判別装置におい
て、 前記各検出手段のうちの故障した検出手段を判
別するための故障検出手段判別部を設けると共に
、 この故障検出手段判別部にて故障であると判別
された検出手段を記憶する故障検出手段記憶エリ
アと、この故障検出手段記憶エリアに記憶された
故障検出手段を特定するため、現金の真偽の判別
に最低限必要な検出手段を各取引ごとに格納した
検出手段テーブルとから成る記憶部を設けて、 故障であると判別された故障検出手段を真偽判
別に必要とする取引の取り扱いは不可とし、それ
以外の取引の取り扱いは可能とすることを特徴と
する現金判別装置。
