突極形積層磁極であつて、その両端面が固定子鉄
心の両端面より内側に来るように配置される突極
形積層磁極と、界磁巻線を保持するするように前
記突極形積層磁極の端面のそれぞれに固定されて
いる鋼製の端板であつて、前記固定子鉄心と対向
する表面に円周方向に複数本の溝が切つてある端
板と、前記端板に冷却風を供給するようにした冷
却構造とを備えたことを特徴とする突極形積層磁
極を有する同期機。 2 端板に対する冷却構造は、断面L字状の端板
であつて、第1の脚が半径方向に位置し、第2の
脚が軸と平行で突極形積層磁極に対して外側に突
出するように第1の脚の一側面が前記突極形積層
磁極の端面のそれぞれに固定されている端板の前
記第1の脚の他の3側面をこの第1の脚との間に
所定の隙間ができるように通風ガイド板で覆い、
前記第2の脚の軸側表面に前記隙間と連続するよ
うに円周方向及び軸方向にそれぞれ溝を切り、前
記軸方向の溝及び前記隙間と連通して前記端板に
半径方向に貫通孔を設け、前記隙間の軸方向側及
び前記軸方向の溝の外側端部から冷却風を供給す
るように構成した請求項1記載の突極形積層磁極
