On the upper surface of the bottom plate 2, an outdoor heat exchanger 7 formed in a generally L-shaped fin tube shape is mounted. That is, this heat exchanger 7 is mounted along two sides of the upper surface of the bottom plate 2. Further, a support 9 is provided upright on the bottom plate 2 to which a blower 8 is attached. This support 9 is constructed as shown in FIG. 3, and has a fixing piece 10 fixed to the bottom plate 2 by welding or the like at its lower end, and a rising piece 11 and a horizontal upper end serving as a receiving piece. The piece portion 12 is integrally formed by bending. Reinforcing bent pieces 13 are provided along the side edges of the rising piece 11 and the upper horizontal piece 12, and notch holes 14 are provided at predetermined intervals. The upper and lower notch holes 14, 14 of the rising piece part 11 are cut and raised pieces, such as a presser piece 15,
15, and the direction of this cutting and raising is opposite to the direction in which the upper end horizontal piece 12 extends. Furthermore, the edges of these holding pieces 15, 15 are bent so as to face each other, and conical protrusions 16, 16 are integrally provided on the bent surfaces. The holding pieces 15, 15 are in contact with the heat exchanger 7, as shown in FIG. 2, and the projections 16, 16 are inserted between the fins to prevent horizontal displacement. On the other hand, the guard plate 3 faces the heat exchanger 7 and is bent along two sides of the bottom plate 2. The upper and lower edges of the guard plate 3 are bent to fit into the heat exchanger 7 and the bottom plate 2.
Therefore, the heat exchanger 7 is securely fixed by the guard plate 3 so that there is no displacement in the vertical direction. A suction port 17 is provided at a portion of the guard plate 3 facing the blower 8 via the heat exchanger 7, and a handle is attached to a side surface (not shown).
On the other hand, the fan guard plate 4 is bent along two sides of the bottom plate 2 facing the guard plate 3,
Its lower edge is fixed to the bottom plate 2 by means such as welding. A portion of the upper edge abuts against the edge 12 of the upper horizontal piece 12 of the support 9. A fan guard 18 is provided on one surface of the fan guard plate 4 at a portion facing the blower 8. A handle 19 is provided on the other side, and a piping connector n projects therefrom, and a mounting plate 20 on which electrical components m are mounted is provided on the back side.

Fan guard plate 4 assembled in this way
Assuming that the mutual dimensions of the outer surfaces of the guard plate 3 and the guard plate 3 are A, the inner dimension of the bent peripheral edge of the top plate 5 is formed to a dimension A which is slightly smaller than the above dimension A.

Therefore, the fan guard plate and the guard plate 3 are pressed inward, and the support 9 and the heat exchanger 7 are firmly attached to each other, and the top plate 5 is covered from above. Plate 5 closes off their upper ends. Note that the upper end of the guard plate 3 has a fourth
As shown in the figure, the latching tongue piece 21 is cut and processed,
A through hole 22 is bored in the side edge of the top plate 5 facing this. When the top plate 5 is covered, the through hole 22 is adapted to engage with the above-mentioned latching tongue piece 21. Finally, by screwing one side edge of the top plate 5, such as the upper end of the fan guard plate 4, with a set screw 23, the top plate can be securely fixed.

The interior of the casing 1 constructed in this manner is divided into two by a partition plate 24, and the blower 8 is disposed in one of the two halves. A compressor 26 wrapped in a soundproofing material 25 is disposed in another room, and this compressor 26 is connected to the heat exchanger 7.
and a piping connector n etc. via a refrigerant pipe. The partition plate 24 has an inclined surface facing the heat exchanger 7 as shown in FIG. is in contact with the fan guard plate 4 and fixed by a set screw 27. Therefore, the partition plate 24 functions to maintain the gap between the heat exchanger 7 and the fan guard plate 4. Further, engagement holes 29, 29 are formed in the upper bent piece 28 of the partition plate 24 at a predetermined interval. These engaging holes 29, 29 are provided with mechanical retaining tongues 31, 3 which are cut and raised on the reinforcing plate 30.
1 multiplies. One end edge of the reinforcing plate 30 is bent downward, and this bent piece 32 is inserted between the guard plate 3 and the heat exchanger 7. A pair of regulating pieces 33, 33 are cut and raised at a predetermined distance from this bent piece 32, and the regulating pieces 33 on the bent piece 32 side are fitted into the upper end of the heat exchanger 7. Perform this position regulation. Further, the position of another set of heat exchangers 7 can be regulated by the mutual regulating pieces 33, 33.

In this way, the reinforcing plate 30 is placed across the upper edge of the partition plate 24 and the upper surface of the heat exchanger 7, and the top plate 5 is placed on top of this reinforcing plate 30.

Therefore, the partition plate 24 is disposed across the slope so as to face the heat exchanger 7, and the wide reinforcing plate 30 is placed across the upper edge of the partition plate 24 and the upper surface of the heat exchanger 7. Therefore, even if a load is applied to the top plate 5, the reinforcing plate 30 is supported by the heat exchanger 7 and the partition plate 24, so that it can withstand the strength sufficiently.

Moreover, the reinforcing plate 30 is located closer to the center of the outdoor unit on the side of the room where the blower 8 is installed, which has a larger area than the room where the compressor 26 is installed, thereby reinforcing the load applied to the top plate 5. The plate 30 can receive the ball in a well-balanced manner.

Furthermore, since the partition plate 24 is disposed from the end of the heat exchanger 7 through an inclined surface that faces the heat exchanger 7, this inclined surface is distanced from the blower 8, resulting in poor heat exchange efficiency. Since it also serves as a ventilation guide plate from the end of the vessel 7, the heat exchange efficiency becomes approximately uniform.
