押圧するユニツト付勢手段と、上記画像形成用ユ
ニツトに対して装置本体側からの回転駆動力を伝
達する回転駆動力伝達機構とを備えてなり、上記
回転駆動力伝達機構は、画像形成用ユニツトを感
光体から引き離す方向の回転駆動力をローラー部
材に伝達するように構成される画像形成装置にお
いて、 上記ユニツト付勢手段によつて画像形成用ユニ
ツトを感光体側へ押圧する作用力と、画像形成用
ユニツトを感光体から引き離す作用力に対抗して
摺動案内手段に生じる摩擦反力との合力が、画像
形成用ユニツトを感光体から引き離す方向に作用
する回転駆動力伝達機構による作用力より大きく
なるように設定されていることを特徴とする画像
