回転側もしくは固定側との間にPTFEベローズ
を気密的に接合してなり、密封対象流体がシール
リング摺動面の内周側に連通する空間に存するメ
カニカルシールにおいて、PTFEベローズの蛇
腹状本体部分の両端に位置する谷部に、該谷部と
対応する略台形断面を呈する周方向に分割された
嵌合リングを微小な隙間を介して遊嵌してなるこ
とを特徴とするPTFEベローズ型メカニカルシ
ール。 (2) シールリングとこのシールリングを支持す
る回転側もしくは固定側との間にPTFEベロー
ズを気密的に接合してなり、密封対象流体がシー
ルリング摺動面の内周側に連通する空間に存する
メカニカルシールにおいて、PTFEベローズの
蛇腹状本体部分の外周に、内周面が該蛇腹状本体
部分の各山谷の外面と対応する連続した凹凸状を
なし周方向に分割された嵌合リングを微小な隙間
を介して遊嵌してなることを特徴とするPTFE
