ケーシング内に設けられ、加湿用の水を貯溜する
水タンクと、同じく上記ケーシング内に設けられ
、上記水タンクから送られてくる水を加振して微
細な水滴とする超音波振動子と、同じく上記ケー
シング内に設けられ、上記超音波振動子による水
の加振により発生した上記微細な水滴を、上記ケ
ーシングの端部上面に、煙突をかたどつて設けた
噴出口から噴出させる送風フアンとから成る蒸気
機関車型超音波加湿器であつて、加湿量を調整す
る為の調整器と上記超音波振動子の駆動回路との
間に、加湿量に応じて超音波振動子の運転を間欠
的に行なわせる間欠動作用発生器を設け、この間
欠動作用発生器は、調整器により指示された加湿
量が多い場合に、上記超音波振動子の運転時間の
割合を多くし、加湿量が少ない場合に、上記超音
波振動子の運転時間の割合を少なくする、蒸気機
