と、 シール本体部の内周部に形成され、シール本体
部に連なり、リツプ先端部が内側部材の外周面部
分に摺接されるシールリツプ部と、 前記シール本体部の内周面、シールリツプ部の
外周面、および前記シール本体部とシールリツプ
部とが連結するリツプ基部の一側面とで形成され
る環状溝に装着され、シールリツプ部を前記内側
部材の外周面部分に押し付けるコイルばねと、 前記シール本体部のリツプ先端部から前記芯金
側の側面から前記リツプ基部の他側面である芯金
延長部に対向する側の側面にかけて被着されるフ
ツ素樹脂被膜とからなり、 前記フツ素樹脂被膜のリツプ基部側に被着され
た部分が、前記芯金延長部とは非接着とされ、か
つ前記リツプ基部と芯金延長部とで挟持されてい
る構成の密封装置において、 前記フツ素樹脂被膜の芯金延長部によつて挟持
された部分には、芯金延長部の内周縁部分とリツ
プ基部とが直接接触し一体的に接着されるための
貫通孔が円周数か所に軸方向に貫通して形成され
ていることを特徴とする密封装置。 (2) 前記シール本体部とシールリツプ部とを連
結するリツプ基部は、コイルばね装着用溝を形成
する前記一側面が前記貫通孔の形成位置から径方
向外方に向かうにつれ肉厚を増す斜面状に形成さ
れてシール本体部の内周に連結されるとともに、
肉厚の最も薄肉となる前記貫通孔の形成位置でシ
ールリツプ部に連結されていることを特徴とする
