圧室とに区画するパワーピストン及びダイアフラ
ムと、該パワーピストンに摺動可能に嵌合されブ
レーキペダルにプツシユロツドを介して連動する
バルブプランジヤ及び、該バルブプランジヤの後
端に第1付勢手段により付勢されて通常時当接す
るシール面とその内外面に夫々大気と負圧が常時
作用し且つ前記プツシユロツドの軸方向の移動に
応じて軸方向に伸縮可能な筒部とフランジ部を備
えたローリング部を有し、前記パワーピストンの
筒状部に固定されて前記プツシユロツドを前記ブ
レーキペダル側に付勢する第2付勢手段を係止す
るリテーナによりその外周部を前記筒状部に気密
的に挟持されたコントロールバルブとから成る制
御弁を備え、該制御弁のコントロールバルブが前
記第1付勢手段により前記バルブプランジヤと共
にブレーキペダルに連動し、前記シール面が前記
パワーピストンのシート面に当接して前記定圧室
と前記変圧室の連通を遮断し、前記バルブプラン
ジヤの後端と前記コントロールバルブのシール面
が離間して前記変圧室内に大気を導入し前記両室
間に圧力差を生じさせ、前記パワーピストンに作
動力を発生させる負圧式倍力装置において、前記
リテーナを、前記筒状部の内周に気密的に固設さ
れてその内周部が前記コントロールバルブ外面に
おける前記ローリング部のフランジ部の内周縁部
まで延在する第1リテーナと、該第1リテーナに
固定されて前記コントロールバルブの外周部及び
前記フランジ部を前記第1リテーナとの間で気密
的に挟持する第2リテーナとで構成したことを特
