In order to solve the above problems, the system furniture element according to the present invention is an element that becomes the wall member in the system furniture whose essential elements are a wall member and a horizontal plate stretched between the wall members, Two hard boards stand parallel to each other with a space that can be used for installing electrical outlets, lighting parts, etc. or storing small items, etc., and two hard boards are placed at the front and back ends of these hard boards, respectively. a pair of aluminum draw-out connecting members that connect and support the two hard plates, and a top plate that covers the space between the hard plates, and the connecting member includes:
Vertical grooves with openings facing toward the hard board are formed on the inner side of both side edges facing the hard board side ends, respectively, with a space between each vertical groove. A protruding strip is formed on the inner surface of the opening of the hard plate, and the hard plate has a step on the outer surface of the side end thereof with a step approximately the same size as the thickness of the connecting member, and the side end has a tenon that fits into the vertical groove. At the same time, a recessed line that fits into the protruding line is formed on the inner surface of the base of the tenon, and the support of the horizontal plate by the wall member causes the side end of the horizontal plate to be connected to the hard plate of the wall member. This is done by abutting the outer surface and fastening and fixing on the inner surface side of the hard board, and the connecting support of the hard board by the connecting member is done by fitting the tenon at the end of the hard board into the vertical groove of the connecting member, The space between the hard plates is closed by covering the space between the hard plates with the top plate.

This is because the wall for supporting the horizontal board made from the furniture element of this invention has sufficient strength, can be applied to a variety of furniture, and is excellent as an element for developing a unified design system. In the case of the furniture element of this invention that is a wall member, instead of one hardboard per wall, two hardboards are used.
Durable wood paneling is used, and the hardboard panels are assembled securely. The reason why the assembly is reliable is because the joint structure that connects the hard plates is appropriate. In other words, the joint structure is such that the tenon at the side end of the hard board is held in place by the groove of the sufficiently strong aluminum pull-out connecting member, which is held securely by the engagement of the protrusions and grooves to prevent it from coming off. .

(b) The joint between the hard plate and the connecting member is not noticeable. This is because there is a step on the outer surface of the tenon portion of the hard board having the same size as the thickness of the connecting member, so that the hard board and the connecting member are flush with each other on the outer surface.

(d) The connecting members are drawn aluminum parts with good appearance. In the connecting member, the protruding stripes that fit into the grooves of the tenons of the hardboard are formed not on the outer surface inside the opening of the longitudinal groove but on the inner surface at the back, resulting in a particularly good appearance. If the protrusions are formed on the outer surface of the opening of the longitudinal groove, vertical lines will be formed on the surface of the connecting member facing the protrusions, resulting in a poor appearance.

Furniture element 1 serving as a wall member includes two hardboards 2, 2',
It includes a front connecting member 3 that curves with a bulge, a sill-like rear connecting member 4, a top plate 5, and a bottom plate 6. Both connecting members 3 and 4 are drawn aluminum products, which is preferable in terms of strength, economy, light weight, and gloss. Steps 2c, 2 of approximately the same dimensions as the thickness of the connecting members 3, 4 are provided on the outer surfaces of the side ends of the hard plates 2, 2'.

The front connecting member 3 has an end face formed as a convex curved surface A, and has upper and lower openings facing the hard boards 2 and 2' on the inside of both side ends facing the hard board side end. Two longitudinal grooves 3a extending through the grooves are formed parallel to each other with a space between them. Then, a protrusion 3b that fits into the grooves 2b and 2b' on the inner surface (inner inner surface) of the opening of the vertical groove 3a.
is formed. The rear connecting member 4 has a planar end face, but is provided with two vertical grooves 4a similar to those of the front connecting member 3, and the inner surface of the opening of the vertical groove 4a (inner side Similar protrusions 4b are formed on the inner surface). Projections 3b, 4b
are provided only on the inner surfaces of the openings of the vertical grooves 3a, 4a, giving a good appearance. The protrusions 3b and 4b are formed into vertical grooves 3.
If it is provided on the outer surface (outside inner surface) of the openings a and 4a, vertical lines are likely to be formed on the outer surface (surface) of that portion during processing, which tends to deteriorate the appearance. Also,
When the protrusions 3b, 4b are provided on both sides of the openings of the vertical grooves 3a, 4a, the thickness of the tenons 2a, 2a' becomes thinner, and the strength of the tenons may be weakened.

In this furniture element 1, a horizontal plate (shelf plate) 7, which is another essential element, connects the tenons 2a, 2a' at the side ends of the hard plates 2, 2' to which the horizontal plates (shelf plates) 7, which are other essential elements, are fixed with screws, to the longitudinal grooves of the front connecting member 3. 3
a and the longitudinal groove 4a of the rear connecting member 4 from above and below, respectively, thereby assembling system furniture. At this time, the convex lines 3b, 4b of both the front and rear connecting members 3, 4 are connected to the concave lines 2 of the hard plates 2, 2'.
b, 2b', so the hard plates 2,
2' is firmly connected and fixed to both columnar connecting members 3 and 4 and is prevented from coming off. In addition to the prevention by fitting the protrusions and grooves, a prevention method may also be used in which the hard plate is fitted into the groove of the connecting member and both are screwed together.

In this way, when fitted to both the front and rear connecting members 3, 4, the two hard plates 2, 2' are connected and supported parallel to each other with an interval between them.
The upper end interval part 2' is covered by the top plate 5. The method of fixing the top plate 5 to the hard plate or connecting member is as follows:
Any commonly used suitable method such as fixing with screws can be used. In the illustrated example, a cap-shaped bottom plate 6 made of rubber or the like is fitted to the lower end of the wall member. Although this bottom plate 6 is not necessarily required, it is preferable to provide it in order to improve the aesthetic appearance. If the bottom plate 6 is made of an elastic material such as rubber, it is not only convenient to attach and detach, but is also advantageous in terms of protecting the floor surface and preventing rattling during installation.

1 An element that serves as the wall member in system furniture in which the essential elements of the composition are a wall member and a horizontal board that spans between the wall members, and which is used when installing electrical outlets, electric light parts, etc., or for storing small items, etc. Two hard boards that stand parallel to each other with an available space between them; a pair of aluminum pull-out connecting members that are placed at the front and rear ends of these hard boards to connect and support both hard boards; and a top plate that covers the space between the two hard boards, and the connecting member has openings facing the hard boards on the inside of both side ends facing the hard boards. The vertical grooves are formed with spaces between each other, and a protrusion is formed on the inner surface of the opening of each vertical groove, and the hard plate has a thickness equal to the thickness of the connecting member on the outer surface of the side end. A step having approximately the same size is provided so that the side end portion forms a tenon that fits into the vertical groove, and a groove that fits into the protrusion is formed on the inner surface of the base of the tenon. , the support of the horizontal plate by the wall member is achieved by abutting the side edge of the horizontal plate against the outer surface of the hard plate of the wall member and fastening and fixing it on the inner side of the hard plate,
The connection and support of the hardboards by the connecting member is achieved by fitting a tenon at the end of the hardboard into the longitudinal groove of the connecting member, and the gap between the hardboards is closed by the top plate covering the space between the hardboards.
