この発明は、間欠記録方式により映像信号をコ
マ落としして記録する長時間記録監視用の磁気録
画再生装置(以下VTRと称す)に関するもので

走行させるタイミングと記録のタイミングとを合
せて、上記磁気テープの標準テープ速度時に1フ
レーム間欠記録を行なうものでは、従来の1/2イ
ンチヘリカルスキヤン方式のVTRとのテープの
互換性はとれるが、間欠走行において標準テープ
速度に上げかつ記録時にその速度を維持すること
等の制御が複雑で困難であつた。また、別の方式
のものは、同一アジマス記録であるため従来の
VTRとのテープの互換性がなく、さらに同一の
フイールド記録であるため隣接トラツク間でデー
プパターン上の水平同期信号の並びが成立せず、
そのための補正回路を必要とする等のコストデメ

た1対のビデオヘツドにより磁気テープ停止期間
に記録及び静止画再生を行ない、上記回転ドラム
上の対称位置に取付けられた他の1対のビデオヘ
ツドにより通常再生を行なうようにすることによ
り、磁気テープ駆動系に特別な高い精度を必要と
せず、しかも上記ビデオヘツドに所定のアジマス
角を設けることにより従来のVHS方式あるいは
ベータ方式のフオーマツトと互換性のある記録、
再生を行なうことができる磁気録画再生装置を提

ドと、上記回転ドラムの外周上にその回転中心軸
に対して対称に取付けられた通常再生を行なうた
めの1対のビデオヘツドとを備えたことを特徴と
する磁気録画再生装置。1.
