な平板状にすることが行われる。(Prior Art and its Problems) The shape of the connection terminal portion of a contact in an electrical connector varies depending on the equipment that uses the connector, its mounting method, and the wiring method. For example, when connecting to a conductive part of a printed wiring board, the connecting terminal part a of the contact may be made into a pin shape with a diameter slightly smaller than the diameter of the through hole b provided in the printed wiring board, as shown in Fig. 1a. If a wire wrap type is used, use a square pin as shown in Figure 1b. In addition, when connecting a flat cable by crimping, please refer to Figure 1c.
A shape with a slit d in the flat plate part c as shown in the figure, a shape with a protruding tongue as shown in Fig. 1 d for crimp connection of a single wire, and a shape with a protruding tongue as shown in Fig. 1 e and f in the case of a soldered connection.
The cross section may be V-shaped as shown in FIG. 1, or semicircular or concave as shown in FIG.

This results in a wide variety of products, making manufacturing and product management troublesome.

る。 Also, as shown in Figure 2a, a metal layer f that provides conductivity and a metal layer g that provides spring properties are provided on both sides of the plastic layer e, or a metal layer f that provides conductivity is provided on both sides of the plastic layer e, as shown in Figure 2b. Multipolar contacts h and i are formed by etching the metal layer f of the laminate provided on layer e, as shown in FIGS. 3a and b, for example, and folded as shown in FIGS. 3c and d. The bent one is the third one.
If a multi-pole connector is configured by being housed and fixed in an insulating housing j or k as shown in Figures e and f, it is difficult to make a connector with a connecting terminal portion having a desired shape, and for example, as shown in Figure 3G, After removing the plastic layer e between the ends of the connecting terminal part a to make the connecting terminal part a independent, it is likely to be limited to the extent that it can be bent into a V-shaped cross section or the like. Therefore, since the contacts of connectors made by this method have the required conductivity and springiness, they can be made from materials such as phosphor bronze that have a compromise between conductivity and springiness, as in conventional multi-pole connectors. Compared to a type of connector that is made by inserting individual contacts into fixing holes in an insulating housing, it has the advantage of providing a small, inexpensive multi-pole connector with good connection performance. There is a drawback that it is difficult to provide a connector with a connecting terminal portion.

発明を詳細に説明する。
The features of the present invention are summarized in the following points. That is, in the present invention, the connector is divided into two parts: a common connector part having a contact part and a connecting part, and a fitting terminal part having a connecting part and a connecting terminal part. The point is that they are formed by contacting each other and integrating them at a connecting portion provided at one end of each. Then, a mating connection terminal section having an arbitrary desired shape can be replaced and connected to the common connector section, so that a connector with the required connection terminal section can be obtained, and a common contact section can be obtained even though it has the required shape. This makes it possible to obtain a connector with a In addition, by making the connector separable as described above, it is possible to prevent connection failures caused by the flux used during soldering rising to the contact area, and to form the connection terminal area from a different metal from that of the contact area. This provides various advantages such as improved solderability. Next, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to Examples.

Therefore, by replacing the fitting connection terminal portions, it is possible to provide the contact portions of the same standard with connection terminal portions having any desired shape. Further, in the case of a connector formed of a laminated plate, a connecting terminal portion having an arbitrary desired shape can be easily provided, and the above-mentioned drawbacks of conventional connectors can be eliminated.

It is easier to solder than conventional connectors that are integrally formed.
In addition, this split structure prevents the contact parts from being contaminated by the flux used in the soldering process, smoke and fumes generated, and even dirty cleaning fluid after the soldering process, so there is no risk of connection failure. .

される。 For example, when an electric wire is connected to a connecting terminal part by soldering, it is desirable to use a metal with good solderability for the connecting terminal part, and use a metal with spring properties and conductivity only for the contact part. Further, in the case of a type in which a slit d is provided and a crimp connection is made as shown in FIG. However, if the contact part and the connecting terminal part are integrally formed from the same material as in the past, it is difficult to meet the above requirements, and it is necessary to make the contact part and the connecting terminal part using an expensive spring material. In addition, if the springiness of the connection terminal section is harmful, it is necessary to weaken the springiness by heating it at a high temperature, but this does not affect the parts that require springiness. It is expensive because it requires special technology. However, if the contact portion and the connecting terminal portion are separated as in the present invention, the contact portion and the connecting terminal portion can be formed from separate required materials, and the above-mentioned difficulties are solved at once.

The protruding contact portion 9a may also be provided on the connection portion side of the fitting connection terminal portion B. Furthermore, an appropriate locking mechanism may be provided to prevent the common connector portion from being disconnected from the fitting connection terminal portion. In addition, in the above description, the fitting connection terminal part B is formed by fixing the single-pole connection terminal part 5 of a desired shape with a plurality of insulating blocks 7 as shown in FIGS. 4 and 6.
