放射性同位元素を用いたリング状の放射線源、こ
の線源からの一次線に基づき前記シート状物体の
構成物質によつて発生した蛍光X線を検出する前
記線源の中央開口の背後に設けられた検出器、及
び前記線源の中央開口部内周縁に高さが調整され
て前記シート状物体に対するパスライン位置を可
変できるコリメータが組付けられた蛍光X線測定
装置において、前記コリメータは前記線源の中央
開口部内周縁に高さが上下動可能な筒体及び該筒
体内側中を上下移動可能な複数の小筒体の集合体
から成る小筒集合体から成り、該コリメータの高
さを前記線源の内周縁に突出して取付けたことを
