That is, a dust-containing airflow is sucked into the dust collection bag 5 through the intake port 4 of the front lid 3 by the suction force of the electric blower 2 housed in the main body 1 of the vacuum cleaner. The dust collection bag 5 is made of breathable paper, etc., and collects almost 100% of dust of 10 μm or more, but the collection rate is poor for dust of 10 μm or less, and about 50% for dust of 0.5 to 5 μm. This causes the dust to flow out from the dust collection bag 5 toward the rear along with the air current. Reference numeral 6 denotes a fine dust filter installed behind the dust collection bag 5, which uses electrostatic force to collect fine dust that leaks from the dust collection bag 5. If the dust is between 0.5 and 5 μm, it will collect 90% of the fine dust. Shows nearby collection effect.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention Incidentally, in recent years, indoor dust has attracted attention from a health and hygiene perspective, and it has been pointed out that mold and dust mites in particular are the cause of allergic diseases such as rhinitis and bronchial asthma. In conventional vacuum cleaners, most of the indoor dust of 10 μm or less in the dust collection bag 5 is discharged indoors from the vacuum cleaner as exhaust along with the airflow, so fungi such as mold and bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus These particles are diffused inside the room, making it unsanitary. Therefore, a structure has been devised in which the fine dust is collected using electrostatic force, as shown in the above-mentioned conventional example. However, the fine dust that has passed through the dust collection bag 5 contains a large amount of mold and bacteria, and these are collected and accumulated in the fine dust filter 6, where they multiply. They have the drawbacks of emitting odors and leaking out to the rear along with the passing air, eventually polluting the indoor air.

Effects The present invention has a multi-layered electrostatic filter that collects fine dust and a sterilizing filter, so the electrostatic filter collects most of the mold and bacteria dust that is 0.5 to 1 μm or larger. Even sterilizing filters have a trapping effect, so they can collect mold and sterilizing substances. The mold and bacteria collected by the sterilizing filter are killed, and the mold and bacteria collected by the electrostatic filter are kept inside the electrostatic filter because the sterilizing filter is in contact with the electrostatic filter. When they begin to multiply, they come into contact with the sterilizing filter and die, and eventually their proliferation is suppressed and they all die.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, a lower body 7 of the vacuum cleaner is fixed to an upper body 8 via a bumper 9, and houses an electric blower 11 supported by front and rear support rubbers 10a and 10b. Reference numeral 12 denotes a front cover attached to the front of the lower body 7, which is provided with an intake port 13 and has an intake port rubber 14 sandwiched and fixed between it and the lower body 7. This inlet rubber 14 is communicated with a dust collection chamber 16 formed by the lower body 7 and the lower lid 15. A dust collecting bag 17 is installed in the dust collecting chamber 16, and is composed of an opening part 18 and a bag material 19 made of paper. This opening part 18 has an air intake rubber 14.
A suction port 20 that fits into the bag material 19 and communicates with the suction port 13 is formed to suck dust-containing air into the bag material 19;
It is designed to collect dust. 21 is dust collection room 1
This is a filter frame attached to the lower main body 7 in 6, and a fine dust filter 22 is press-fitted and fixed therein. In FIG. 2, the fine dust filter 22 is constructed by providing sterilizing filters 24 at the front and rear so as to sandwich an electrostatic filter 23 therebetween. The electrostatic filter 23 is made of material such as polypropylene with a diameter of 20~
It is a non-woven fabric made of 30 μm synthetic resin fibers, which has been specially processed to charge the fibers with electrostatic force, and has a structure that attracts and collects fine dust using electrostatic force. On the other hand, the sterilizing filter 24 is made of a non-woven fabric made of polyester, rayon, etc., and is constructed by attaching a chemical solution such as a bactericidal agent or antibacterial agent to the surface of a single fiber of the non-woven fabric. When it comes into contact with the surface of single fibers, it destroys the cells and prevents their reproduction.
It will even cause them to die. 25 is the lower body 7
The electric blower 11 and the dust collection chamber 1
6 is connected.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained.
Most of the dust-containing air taken in through the intake port 13 of the front lid 12 is collected in the dust collection bag 16 with a particle diameter of 10 μm or more. In addition, the collection efficiency of fine dust particles of 10 μm or less changes depending on the size, and 50% for particles of 0.5 to 5 μm.
The collection efficiency is only moderate, and some of the dust leaks out of the dust collection bag 16 along with the passing air. This leaked dust contains fungi such as mold and bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, and if it is discharged directly from the vacuum cleaner as an exhaust stream, it will contaminate the indoor air. Therefore, a fine dust filter 22 is provided to collect this fine dust. The fine dust filter 22 has sterilizing filters 24 on the front and back sides, and an electrostatic filter 23 is sandwiched between them.The sterilizing filter 24 collects fine dust by inertial dust collection, and the electrostatic filter 23 collects fine dust by electrostatic force and inertia. Both dust collection and collection are more efficient.
Achieves a collection efficiency of about 90% for dust particles of 0.5 to 5 μm. Here, the cells of molds and bacteria that come into direct contact with the sterilizing filter 24 are destroyed, their growth is inhibited, and they finally die, while the molds and bacteria that are collected by the electrostatic filter 23 grow and multiply. When it comes into contact with the sterilizing filter 24, its growth and multiplication is inhibited, and it does not increase beyond a certain limit, so that mold and bacteria are discharged in large quantities from the vacuum cleaner along with the exhaust stream. This can be prevented. In addition, since there is a bacterial filter 24 not only behind the electrostatic filter 23 but also in front of it, mold and bacteria collected by the electrostatic filter flow back into the dust collection chamber 16 when the vacuum cleaner is not in use. They do not multiply inside the dust collection chamber 16.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment, in which the fine dust filter 22' consists of two layers, an electrostatic filter 23' and a sterilizing filter 24', both of which are made of nonwoven fabric. Then, needle punching is performed from the sterilizing filter 24' side toward the electrostatic filter 23', and as a result, the sterilizing filter 2
A countless number of fibers 4' enter the nonwoven fabric of the electrostatic filter 23' and are entangled with each other, so that the electrostatic filter 23' and the sterilizing filter 24' are integrated. Therefore, the effect of inhibiting the growth and proliferation of molds and bacteria collected by the electrostatic filter 23' can be greatly achieved.

In addition, if the electrostatic filter 23 is made of a nonwoven fabric with fibers of 10 μm or less, a high dust collection effect can be obtained even with an extremely thin electrostatic filter 23, and mold and mildew inside the electrostatic filter 23 can be obtained. It also increases the effectiveness of inhibiting the growth and proliferation of bacteria.

Effects of the Invention In this way, the present invention constitutes a fine dust filter by stacking an electrostatic filter and a sterilizing filter, so that mold and bacteria can be collected by the electrostatic filter, and the growth and proliferation can be inhibited by the sterilizing filter. It can be killed by direct contact, which has the effect of preventing large amounts of mold and bacteria from being emitted from vacuum cleaners and creating a clean living environment.
