[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial field of application] The invention is applicable to fireproof and airtight penetrations of electric wires and cables,
In particular, the present invention relates to a fireproof and airtight penetration part of an electric wire or cable in which a plug or a receptacle is attached to the end of the electric wire or cable.

Many electric wires and cables for control purposes pass through wall penetration holes between a cable concentration room such as a power plant, substation, or plant equipment and the adjacent control room, but if something happens in the cable concentration room, When a fire occurs, carbon dioxide gas or chlorofluorocarbon gas is generally used to extinguish it. On this occasion,
If the gas or the combustion gas generated by the fire leaks into the control room, the control room will become deficient in oxygen, and there is a risk that a secondary disaster will occur for the personnel in the control room. Therefore, such wall penetration holes for electric wires and cables need to be fireproof and airtight.

A conventional fireproof and airtight structure for a cable through-hole is such that after an electric wire/cable is inserted into the through-hole, the gap between the through-holes is filled with a putty-like fireproof sealing material.

With this fireproof and airtight structure, when filling the sealing material, fine powder of rock wool scatters, causing discomfort to the worker, and it is extremely difficult to completely fill all the gaps in the through hole with the fireproof sealing material, which is difficult in practice. It is impossible to make it airtight.

In addition, as another fire-resistant airtight structure, a hole is made in advance to match the outer diameter of the electric wire/cable to be inserted, and a heat-resistant elastic body whose outer shape matches the wall through-hole is inserted into the wall through-hole, and the electric wire/cable is inserted into the hole. After the cable is inserted, the heat-resistant elastic body is compressed to maintain airtightness, and then the entrance of the through hole is filled with rock wool or fire-resistant putty to create a fire-resistant airtight structure. There is a limit to the number of wires and cables that can be used, and there are also problems with workability and economy.

Second, the gap between the wire and the wire entry groove is filled with a non-crosslinked butyl rubber mixture, but this mixture is not fire resistant and burns when exposed to flame, and polybutene oil is injected into the central space. leaks and the airtightness is lost.

Therefore, the applicant of the present application proposed a "fireproof and airtight unit" in Utility Application No. 183810/1983 (Kokai No. 149417/1983).
However, in cases where a plug or receptacle is attached to the end of the cable and the cable is inserted into a through hole, the plug or receptacle cannot be used. Generally, the outer diameter of wires and cables is larger than that of electric wires and cables, so when inserting the wires and cables into the fireproof airtight unit, a hole larger than the outer diameter of the wires and cables is created, and when the airtight sealing material is later injected, the cables and fireproof wall There is a problem in that the sealing material leaks from the gap created between the two, making it impossible to ensure airtightness.

In view of the above points, the present invention provides an electric wire/cable that can be easily inserted into an electric wire/cable through hole with a plug or receptacle attached to the end of the electric wire/cable, and has sufficient fireproof airtightness. The purpose is to provide fireproof airtight penetrations.

[Means for achieving the purpose] In order to achieve the above purpose, in the present invention,
A pair of boxes made of non-combustible board material are open at the top or bottom and have a recess with a semicircular cross-section through which electric wires/cables are inserted at the open edges of opposing side plates, and are covered with fire-resistant and flame-retardant putty. The pair of boxes are stacked with the open portions facing each other to form a fireproof wall constituent member, and these constituent members are respectively inserted into both ends of the electric wire/cable through holes formed in the partition wall to form a fireproof wall. A wire/cable is inserted into both fireproof walls through the hollow part, and a liquid sealing material that hardens over time is injected into the central space sandwiched between both fireproof walls. The structure was such that a plurality of small holes were drilled in the surface except for the surface with the hollow part.

In the fireproof and airtight penetration part for electric wires and cables of the present invention as described above, a pair of boxes filled with fireproof and flame-retardant putty are used to insert the electric wires and cables into the through-holes. Since a fireproof wall can be formed at both ends of the wire/cable, even if a plug or receptacle is attached to the end of the wire/cable, the fireproof wall can be easily formed. As the fire-resistant/flame-retardant putty adheres tightly, the fire-resistant/flame-retardant putty protrudes from the small holes in the box body, filling the gaps between each box body and between the box body and the inner surface of the through-hole, and causing the liquid sealing material to be injected later to leak out. By injecting a liquid sealant into the central space of both fireproof walls, small gaps are filled with the sealant. Therefore, even if the outside of the fireproof and airtight penetrating portion is exposed to flame, the heat is blocked by the fireproof and flame retardant putty, and the sealing material does not change in quality and maintains fireproof and airtightness as a whole.
