(Prior Art) Knitted gloves are widely used because they provide appropriate elasticity and close contact, and are usually knitted with stockinette, and most of them have a plain weave structure of weft stockinette. This is because it is highly elastic, has good ventilation due to its porous nature, has good heat retention when made bulky, and has a soft texture. However, since it is made of a knitted fabric, it can stretch or the threads may break, and especially if the fingers are repeatedly opened and closed, the threads tend to unravel or break.

As a result of research on the fatigue of the threads and tissues due to the use of the conventional knitted gloves, the present inventor found that the gloves that are being worn are is pulled most strongly, and the lateral movement of the thumb is repeatedly transmitted to the part near the wrist, so it does not fatigue early and lose its elasticity, and on the other hand, from the crotch F to the base of the other four fingers. We discovered a mechanism whereby the elasticity of the part (L 1 in Figure 1) is preserved because it hardly gets fatigued, and the holding force of the lower part of the crotch F is relatively weaker, making it easier to come off gradually. . As a result, it was found that the above-mentioned problem could be solved by preventing fatigue in the lower half of the crotch F.

The above-mentioned problems can be improved mainly by changing the properties of the yarn and the knitting structure, but as with work gloves, the evaluation based on the required functions and price of the product is already fixed, and expensive Even if improvements such as using thread or requiring changes to the mechanical structure are attempted, they are almost never practical.

(Technical Means) The knitted glove of the present invention that achieves the above-mentioned object receives the acting force concentrated on the crotch part F between the thumb and index finger of the glove body due to the movement of the fingers while wearing the glove. , in the part extending to the hem Z,
It is made by knitting elastic threads parallel to the weft passing through the crotch portion F to a required knitting width to resist a tensile force applied to the weft.

The main body of the knitted glove is made of yarn, wool, etc. made of the same materials as conventional gloves, and is made of ordinary knitting methods such as flat knitting, rubber knitting, purl knitting, etc., or other knitting structures. Elastic thread is thread-like rubber,
Among these, a material formed by wrapping fibers around rubber is preferred because it has a good weave with the main body material, but is not limited thereto. Examples of elastic threads include those that have been used to provide shrinkability to the hem of gloves.

The area where the elastic yarn is knitted is between the crotch F between the index finger and thumb and the hem, and the strongest tensile force is applied to the weft in this area, preventing fatigue of the knitted fabric. It's for a reason. The cause of the strong tensile force is the fact that the thumb moves mainly in the width direction of the palm, the shape of the palm where the width gradually narrows from the base of the thumb toward the wrist, and these facts work synergistically. This is considered to be the reality.

Therefore, the elasticity of the part from the crotch part F to the hem part Z of the main body is increased, and the elastic thread is folded in at the required knitting width so that the relative movement of the glove due to the movement of the fingers is directed toward the wrist. . As a guideline for the weave width, it is best to provide multiple rows in parallel, from the first row along the top weft of the crotch F to the second row along the next weft. The number of threads is not particularly limited as even just one thread is effective, but when using normal elastic threads, the number of stitches in the diameter from the crotch to the center of the middle finger can be counted in terms of weft. shall be. The center of the middle finger is just a guideline, and it can be increased or decreased depending on the material and weaving method.
This is because, for example, as shown in Figure 2, the curve of meridian G 1 . . . in the direction of crotch F occurs up to around the middle finger.

Therefore, if the warp is 10 stitches from the inseam to the middle finger, the elastic thread is knitted up to the 10th stitch of the weft. If the amount is less than that, the elastic thread will become fatigued and the effect will be weakened, and the shape of the glove will also become unnatural. The strength of the elastic yarn is preferably such that the hem part Z appears to be extended upward, that is, it is compressed to about 40% of the width without the elastic yarn being knitted.

(Function of the Invention) In the glove of the present invention configured as described above, the stretching force of the thread due to the opening and closing of the fingers from the thumb A to the little finger E is Works the strongest. Below this part (base part Z)
If the weft rows are expressed in order as F 1 , F 2 , F 3 . is the latitude F 1 of the first column...

Therefore, among the several rows of elastic yarns, the one with weft F1 in the first row stretches against the tensile force most strongly, and the elastic yarn in the second row reinforces it, thus gradually carrying the load up to the last row of elastic yarns. resists the tensile force as a whole while weakening the In this way, the tension acting on the elastic yarn reinforces the tensile force applied to the weft, counteracting and absorbing the tensile force concentrated at the crotch F, and even if the weft stretches due to the tensile force, the elastic yarn will resist this tension. to contract.

Therefore, the elasticity of the required part below the crotch part F where the elastic thread is knitted is relatively stronger than that of the crotch part F which is not knitted with the other four fingers and their bases.

In addition, the tensile force acting on the crotch F as described above is applied to each finger A, B, C, D, and E, especially the index finger B.
The middle finger C acts to pull the finger in the direction of the crotch F through the meridian, increasing its adhesion to the finger. This force corresponds to the movement of the thumb and is supported by the force acting in the direction of the wrist due to the elastic thread (Figure 2). (see chain line, arrow).

(Effects of the Invention) Therefore, according to the knitted glove of the present invention, the rubber band R absorbs the tensile force that is stretched longest and most strongly and concentrated at the crotch region F, as the glove is opened and closed, tightened, or loosened. In addition, the rubber band itself receives the action from the lower half of the palm, and as a whole acts to shift the glove toward the wrist, improving the fit and adhesion to the hand, and making it easier to take off the glove. It has the effect of preventing In addition, the printing tension on the weft used to knit the main body is reduced, and even if the elastic thread is stretched to a certain extent, it will not contract and excessive stretch or breakage will occur prematurely, so that the yarn material and knitting structure are the same. It has the effect of extending the service life even if it occurs. In addition, in the case of the structure described in the example, the extension of the service life was expected to be three times as long as that of a knitted glove made of the same material and structure without implementing the present invention.

(Example) To explain with the illustrated example, this example relates to work gloves, which are manufactured using special spun cotton yarn No. 8.5, and are made of plain knitted weft knitted fabric from the uppermost part of the palm to the crotch. The length to F is L 1 , the length from crotch F to the hem is L 2 , and the length of the hem is L 3.
Then, the length ratio is 18 stitches, 18
The number of eyes was 26.

The elastic thread was made by winding fibers around thread-like rubber and was inserted into all of the crotch section F from the 1st row F to the 13th row, and continued to the hem section. Therefore, the width W was the same from the crotch to the end of the hem. FIG. 3 shows the back stitch of the knitted fabric, H 1 . . . is an elastic yarn knitted on the back side, and Y is an elastic portion made of the elastic yarn.

Although not shown, as a second example, a fabric was manufactured in which elastic threads were woven up to the seventh row, that is, up to the majority of the positions in the first example. In this case, the latitudes from the 8th row to the 13th row have no shrinkage, so they tend to bulge out a little.

When wearing these knitted gloves and testing their durability and usability, we found that while wearing them, there was a slight feeling of pressure in the part where the elastic material was knitted, but this affected the fit and fit of the palm. In addition, on both sides from the thumb to the wrist, the feeling of wearing gloves is similar to that of pulling the gloves toward the wrist, and there is no long-term feeling of bagginess, which is the case with conventional products, and it is extremely stable. No elongation of the weft occurred even after 7 days of continuous wear.
