ツトプリンタの概略図、第２図ａは、インク供給
路をインクが満たし、発光素子から発せられた光
が受光素子に到達しない状態を表わすインク供給
路壁断面図、第２図ｂは、インク供給路をインク
が満たさず、発光素子から発せられた光が受光素
子に到達する状態を表わすインク供給路壁断面図
である。 １…インクタンク、４…インク供給路、５…発
光素子、６…受光素子。

Claims (1)
- 透光性インクを収容するインクタンクと、その
インクタンクに連通して設けられた、透光性部分
を有するインク供給路と、前記インクタンク内の
インクの残存を検出するインク残存検出器と、を
備え、前記インク残存検出器は、インク供給路の
透光性部分を挟む様に配設された発光及び受光素
子とからなり、前記インク供給路内にインクが無
い場合、又は有る場合のいずれかにおいて、発光
素子から発せられた光が受光素子に到達する様な
位置に設けられることを特徴とするインクジエツ
トプリンタ。
