Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 テストプログラムを起動して装置各部を動作さ
せることにより装置各部の機能を確認するように
した画像読取装置において、 装置の読取り面に設置され、テストプログラム
の中から所定の装置部分の機能を確認するテスト
プログラムを特定する内容が記載された所定のパ
ターンと、 この所定パターンの読取りを指示するコマンド
と、上記各部の機能を確認するテストプログラム
とからなる情報が記録される記憶装置と、 装置起動時、記憶装置から上記コマンドを読み
出し、このコマンドの実行により実際に読み取ら
れた上記所定パターンの読取り出力の内容を判読
して、その読取り出力の内容に応じた装置部分の
機能を確認するテストプログラムを起動する手段
と、 テストプログラムの実行により得られた結果を
ホストマシン又は表示部に送る手段と を備えたことを特徴とする画像読取装置。
