- ピストンの燃焼室に臨む頂面に凹部が形成され
、この凹部の開口部が底部側よりも狭くなるよう
、凹部の開口部内面に内側へ向かつて突出する環
状のリツプ部が形成された直接噴射式デイーゼル
機関において、前記リツプ部を前記ピストンと別
体のリング部材に形成し、このリング部材を前記
ピストンに対してその軸線方向へ所定範囲移動自
在に設けたことを特徴とする直接噴射式デイーゼ
ル機関。
