に用いられる回転ヘツド型磁気記録再生装置に関
し、さらに詳しくは、回転ドラム内に消去ヘツド
を内蔵しテープ走行の正逆両方向に記録再生を行
う回転ドラム装置の構成に関するものである。

回転ドラム2はドラム軸6に圧入された回転デ
イスク9に固定され、回転デイスク9にはロータ
リートランスのロータ5、これに対向して下ドラ
ム4にはステータ7が設けられ、記録再生信号の
伝達、消去信号の伝達を行う。第7図、第8図
は、磁気テープを回転ドラム装置に斜めに巻回
し、記録、再生、消去を行う際のヘツド軌跡を模
式的に示したものであつて、ドラムの回転軌跡と
テープ走行により、記録、又は再生される軌跡

ヤンネルを設けなければならず、限られたスペー
ス内でのチヤンネル増加により、トランスの伝送
特性が低下する等の欠点があつた。
この考案は、上記欠点を除去する為に成された
もので、消去ヘツドを可動素子に取り付け、ロー
タリートランスより可動素子を駆動する信号及び
消去信号を伝達し、正逆両方向を単一の回路消去
ヘツドで消去可能することを目的としている。

に構成し、正逆両方向の斜めトラツク方向の少く
とも1トラツク分以上の消去を、回転消去ヘツド
にて行うように構成したものである。

明する。第1図ないし第5図はこの考案の一実施
例を示すものであり、第6図の従来の構成と同一
部分は同一の符号をつけ、その説明は省略する。
第1図ないし第5図において11は消去ヘツドチ
ツプであり、たとえばピエゾセラミツクバイモル
フ板等の可動素子24に固定されており、この可
動素子24は、取付板41に板状体の他端を固定
して組立体として可動ヘツド25となり、回転ド
ラム2に回転角にして固定磁気ヘツド3の略90゜
の位置に固定されている。
可動ヘツド25とロータリトランスが設けられ
たロータ5の間には、第5図に示す、低域通過フ
イルターを含む、整流回路53を通つて可動素子
24が接続され、回転消去ヘツド11はロータリ
ートランス5の上記同じチヤンネルに高域通過フ
イルターを通つて接続されている。51はロータ
リートランスが設けられたステータ7に接続され
た消去信号回路で、可動素子駆動用回路52の信
号と混合されロータリートランスステータを通り
ロータ側へと接続される。回転消去ヘツドは、例
えばトラツクピツチの略2倍のトラツク巾で0゜ア
ジマスで形成されている。
このように構成された磁気記録再生装置の作用
について説明する。まず正方向の記録時について
説明する。正方向に記録される際には、予め、設
定された記録、消去のヘツド高さ差により(例え
ば、トラツクピツチの略半分)、消去信号、記録
信号がロータリートランスに流れる。よつて、可
動素子駆動用回路52には信号が流れず、従つて
可動素子24も偏倚しないことになる。そして、
使用済テープに再記録する場合等には、前記録ト
ラツクを回転消去ヘツド11にて消去しつつ、回
転ヘツド3にて同一トラツクエツジの軌跡を記録
する。
次に、逆方向の記録時について説明する。この
時には、正方向と逆方向時の消去ヘツド高さの差
分(例えば、トラツクピツチの略半分)に相当す
る、変位を可動素子に与えれば記録すべきトラツ
クを先行して消去可能である。
すなわち、上記変位分の可動素子への駆動電圧
に相当するレベルの低周波交換周波数f1を前記、
可動素子駆動用回路52で発生させる。そして消
去信号回路51で発生した交流周波数f2(f1<f2)
とミツクスしてロータリートランスに供給する。
これにより上記に述べた低域フイルターを含む整
流回路53を通つて、可動素子駆動用の直流電圧
が生じ、可動素子24は所定の変位量が得られ、
その高さ位置にて保持される。消去信号はロータ
リートランスロータ5内の高域フイルターを通つ
て、回転消去ヘツド11に加えられ、消去可能と
なる。
なお、上記実施例では、逆方向にて可動素子を
動かしたが、逆に正方向時に駆動してもよく、ま
た正逆方向時に可動素子を変位してもよい。ただ
し正逆両方向時に変位させる場合には、消去電流
の周波数を異つたものにする必要がある。またロ
ータリートランスは板状のものについて説明した
が同軸状のロータリートランスでもよく、さらに
回転消去ヘツド用のロータリートランスは記録再
生用のトランスと同一としてチヤンネルを設けた
が、別体のものでもよい。
また、可動素子は一定電圧にて駆動したが、整
流回路を設けずに消去に支障ない範囲で交流にて
駆動してもよい。
なおまた、上記可動素子は消去のみにて説明し
たが、他の用途にも使用可能であつて例えば高速
サーチ時にも使用してよい。

両方向の消去を単一の回転消去ヘツドにて行なわ
しめるように構成したので、回転消去ヘツドが1
つで済みコストが安く効率的に使用ができ、スリ
ツプリング等の接触式電源供給部材も使用しない
為に、安価に、長寿命な装置を供給することがで
きる。特に、8mmVTRにおけるマルチPCM記録
再生における正逆両方向録再に有効である。
