  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 サーマルヘツドの発熱素子を通電制御し、該サ
    ーマルヘツドに密着された感熱紙を変色させて記
    録を行なう感熱記録装置において、 前記感熱紙が指定のものか指定以外のものかを
    設定する設定スイツチと、 該設定スイツチの設定状態に基づき、指定感熱
    紙が装着されている場合は指定紙通電時間に基づ
    いて前記発熱素子への通電制御を実行し、指定以
    外の感熱紙が装着されている場合は、該指定紙通
    電時間よりも長い第２の通電時間にて前記発熱素
    子への通電制御を実行する二段切換通電制御手段
    と を備えたことを特徴とする感熱記録装置。
