  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ヒータによつて加熱されかつ回転駆動される定
    着ローラと、この定着ローラの外周壁面に用紙を
    押圧する押圧ローラとを有し、この両ローラによ
    つて用紙を挾持しながら用紙上に転写されたトナ
    ーを用紙上に定着させる定着装置において、 前記ヒータを、前記定着ローラの回転中心に対
    して偏心した位置で、かつ、両ローラが用紙上の
    トナーを定着させる定着部位より定着ローラの回
    転方向上流側壁面に近接した位置に配置した、 ことを特徴とする定着装置。
