Claims (1)
- ばねによつてハウジングの軸方向外側へ向けて
付勢され回転軸側のメイテイングリングと対向摺
接する非回転のシールリングの外径フランジ部背
面および該背面内径に形成した筒状部の外周面に
密着する内径固定部と、該内径固定部外周から湾
曲偏向して上記ばねの外側の空間を覆うように略
テーパ状に展開する可撓部と、上記ハウジングの
端面に密着する外径固定部とからなるエラストマ
ー製ダイアフラムを備えたメカニカルシールにお
いて、シールリングの外径フランジ部に、外径側
へ延びてダイアフラムの内径固定部外径の湾曲部
位置に達し、背面が上記外径フランジ部の背面と
面一であつて外周端が断面半円形をなす突起部を
形成したことを特徴とするメカニカルシール。
