本発明は電子写真複写機等における転写紙案内

一般に電子写真複写機においては、現像部にお
いて感光ドラム上に形成されたトナー像を転写部
において転写帯電装置により転写紙に転写するよ
うになつている。この転写工程を行うために転写
部に転写紙を供給する転写紙案内装置が設けられ
ているが、従来の転写紙案内装置は第1図に示す
ように転写紙を感光体ドラム1上に案内するため
の上案内板2と下案内板3とを有している。しか
しながらこの上下案内板の間隔は普通紙等の標準
紙(坪量50〜65Kg)に合わせてあるので葉書等の
厚紙(坪量180〜200Kg)を供給するときには厚紙
の円滑な走行が困難となつて来る。また厚紙の走
行を円滑にするために上下案内板の間隔を大きく
すれば、普通紙等を供給したときに供給された紙
の前縁が感光ドラム上のトナー像に接触して転写
紙前縁裏面のトナー汚染や転写像の画質低下を来

以下に図面を参照しながら本発明を詳細に説明
する。第2図において上案内板2には転写紙案内
用弾性部材4の一端が取り付けられており、弾性
部材4の他端は下案内板3の先端部に接触してお
り、転写紙Pは弾性部材4と下案内板3との接触
を解除しながら矢印の方向に進行する。転写紙P
の先端は弾性部材4の圧力により下案内板の先端
部に沿つて案内され、従つて感光ドラムに衝突す
ることなく所定の転写点Aに到達し満足な転写が
行われる。転写紙案内用弾性部材は可撓性のある
薄板状のものであつて、転写紙の先端を上(下)
案内板2,3の先端部に沿わせて案内できる程度
の弾性を有するものであればよく、例えば金属
箔、プラスチツクフイルム、または針金を長方形
に彎曲させたもの等で形成することができる。本
発明によれば、ポリエステルフイルムよりなるマ
イラー(商品名、3M社製)が好ましいことがわ
