As is well known, in conventional rain gutters, a plurality of groove-shaped members are connected to form a gutter body with a length corresponding to the length of the eaves, and a shielding plate called a stop is installed at the end of the gutter body. It is installed to prevent rainwater from flowing out from the end of the gutter body, and also to connect water collectors, elbows, drainage pipes, etc., which are installed downward from the pipe connection ports established at the bottom of the gutter body at specified locations. A connecting part was installed, and the gutter body was connected to the gutter via this connecting part.

One of the conventional measures is to cover the rain gutter attached to the eaves from the front with a decorative board that is separate from the rain gutter, so that the rain gutter is no longer visible.

However, in conventional rain gutters, even if the gutter body is covered with a decorative board, the elbows and gutter installed at the bottom of the gutter body are visible from the outside, so these connecting parts are an obstacle to finishing the eaves neatly. I was getting used to it. Furthermore, when additional decorative boards are attached, the number of work steps increases accordingly.

This requires extra work to install the decorative board, and since the connecting parts such as elbows and gutter are connected to the bottom of the gutter body, even if the decorative board is installed, those connecting parts will not be completely connected. This is because it is not covered up.

Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a rain gutter which is easier to work with than conventional ones and which can give a beautiful finish to the eaves.

The means taken to achieve the above objective is that a plurality of box-shaped bottomed members each having an open top surface and a rectangular shape in plan view are arranged side by side, and a pipe connection is established on the rear wall of each bottomed member. A plurality of drainage pipes led rearward from each of the ports are connected to a common collecting pipe.

FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the rain gutter of the present invention. In the figure, 1 is a box-shaped bottomed member that is rectangular in plan view, and has left and right side walls 2, 2, a front wall 3, a rear wall 4, and a bottom wall not shown in the figure, and the upper surface is open and has an opening. 6. Such box-shaped bottomed members 1 are arranged side by side as shown in FIG. 4 to constitute a gutter body 7. A pipe connection port 8 is provided in the rear wall 4 of each box-shaped bottomed member 1. Reference numeral 9 denotes a drainage pipe, which is led rearward from each of the pipe connection ports 8. 10 is a collection pipe, and a plurality of drainage pipes 9 are connected to this collection pipe 10. Here, the drain pipe 9 and the collection pipe 10 serve as a culvert, and are connected to a hard trough 12 via an elbow 11, for example. Next, the illustrated box-shaped bottomed member 1 has a mounting plate 13 that projects obliquely upward at the upper end of the rear wall 4, and a plate-shaped portion 14 that extends rearward at the lower end of the rear wall 4. ing.

As is clear from the figure, the box-shaped bottomed member 1 is fixed to the eaves by fixing its mounting plate 13 to the rafters 100 by nailing or other suitable means. If necessary, adjacent parts are positioned relative to each other by means of joints 15. As a joint 15 for positioning the box-shaped bottomed member 1, for example, as illustrated in FIG.
7 and the engaging pieces 18, 18 can be used. When the box-shaped bottomed members 1, 1 are connected in a positioned state using such a joint 15, the two box-shaped bottomed parts are connected by the engaging pieces 18, 18, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. The side walls 2, 2 of the members 1, 1 are fixed to each other with a partition 17 in between, and the abutting portions of the box-shaped bottomed members 1, 1 are covered and hidden by the U-shaped member 16. This prevents rain from leaking through the gap created at the abutting portion of the box-shaped bottomed members 1, 1, and at the same time, the outer surface of the U-shaped member 16 exhibits a decorative effect. Such a decorative effect will be more pronounced if a decorative pattern is applied to the outer surface of the U-shaped member 16. Furthermore, as shown by the imaginary line in FIG. Since the rainwater falling on the top is distributed to the left and right box-shaped bottomed members 1, 1, rainwater does not drip from the abutting portions of the box-shaped bottomed members 1, 1.

Since the lower space of 00 is closed and cannot be seen from the outside, and the plate-shaped portion 14 serves as an eave ceiling, there is no need to provide an eave ceiling. As explained above, according to the present invention, drainage pipes are led to the rear of a plurality of box-shaped bottomed members arranged side by side, and these drainage pipes are connected to a common collection pipe. The pipes and collecting pipes are covered from the front by a plurality of box-shaped members and are no longer visible from the outside. Therefore, even if you do not install a decorative board, the eaves will look cleaner and more beautiful than the conventional case where a decorative board is installed. Nevertheless, it has the excellent effect of simplifying the construction process by reducing the number of man-hours since it is no longer necessary to attach a decorative board.

で、部分的な改修を容易に行える利点もある。 By the way, in conventional rain gutters, adjacent groove-shaped members are often misaligned at the connecting part of the gutter body, which is attached to the fascia of the eaves through a fitting such as a gutter hanger, as described above. For this reason, there have been many cases in which water leaks early from the joint even when the groove-shaped member is connected via a joint having a sealing function. However, since the box-shaped bottomed member of the present invention does not have any connecting parts, there is no fear of water leaking from the connecting parts. However, there is a concern that water may leak at the butt portions of the box-shaped bottomed members, but such concerns can be completely eliminated by using a joint as in the embodiment described above. In addition, the rain gutter of the present invention has the advantage that each box-shaped bottomed member can be replaced individually, so that partial repairs can be easily performed.
