Description
この考案はハンドルの回転でドラグ制動力を調
節する方式の魚釣用リールに関する。

力を調節する方式として、特公昭34−2822号公報
や実開昭57−177463号公報に見られるように、ス

すると、ハンドル軸の外周に螺合されたハンドル
はハンドル軸の外周に嵌合されたドラグ制動部材
を締め付けてドラグ制動力を強くし、またハンド
ルを逆方向に回転するとドラグ制動力が最小方向
に弱くなるように、ハンドル操作でドラグ制動力
を調節することが知られている。
しかし前記調節方式は、座金の突耳又はアーム
のストツパーがハンドルの略一回転の回転を係合
するので、第6図のドラグ制動力線αに対するド
ラグ制動力Tとハンドルのハンドル軸上の進退位
置(距離)Pの関係においてドラグ制動力の強弱
の範囲はlのように広く、最小ドラグ制動力側の
基準値aをbに上げて最大ドラグ制動力との間の
強弱範囲をl′のように狭くすることができても最
大のドラグ制動力より弱い範囲内にドラグ制動力
の最大限を調節設定することはできない。
即ち例えばドラグ制動力の強弱の範囲lが1〜
10Kgに設定されているときに、座金の突耳又はア
ームストツパーの位置を調節移動して最小のドラ
グ制動力を3Kgに上げて3〜10Kgの狭い範囲l′に
設定することはできても、特に最大のドラグ制動
力を下げて1〜7Kgとか、3〜7Kgの範囲に調節
設定することは不可能である。
このような欠陥は魚種、魚の大小、釣場の状況
に応じてドラグ制動操作を迅速かつ円滑に行うこ
とができず、釣糸のバツクラツシユを生じたり、
糸切れを生じたりする問題点を生ずる。

は中空のハンドル軸3の外周に嵌合されドラグ制
動部材4を介してハンドル軸3に螺合されたハン
ドル5で回転され、ハンドル5が釣糸をスプール
13に巻き上げる方向に回転されるとドラグ制動
部材4を押圧してドラグ制動力が強くなり、ハン
ドル5が逆方向に回転されるとドラグ制動力が弱
くなるように構成されている。
前記ハンドル軸3は支持板17に固定支承され
た固定軸18の外周に嵌合されてピン19で抜け
止めされ、内端には爪車20が固定され、外端部
外周には雄螺子3aが刻設されると共に該雄螺子
部3aの外端部外周は多角形の回り止め部3bに
形成され、該回り止め部3bに回り止め部材6の
多角形の透孔6aが回り止め嵌合され、その外側
のハンドル軸3に規制座板7の丸形の透孔7aが
回動可能に嵌合され、回り止め部材6と規制座板
7はハンドル軸3に螺合されたビス21で抜け止
めされている。
前記爪車20には第3図のように支持板17に
ビスで回動自在に支承された逆転防止爪22が発
条23で係脱自在に係合されている。
前記ハンドル5は第1図、第2図のようにハン
ドル軸3の雄螺子3aに螺合され、ハンドル5の
円板部に突設されたピン24は規制座板7に穿設
された複数の長さの異なる円弧状の調節孔7b,
7c,7dの一つに選択挿入されている。
前記回り止め部材6と規制座板7の接合面には
第4図、第5図のように凹凸面6bと7eが形成
され、両者の回動係合により規制座板7がハンド
ル軸3に固定位置を変位可能に取付けることがで
きるように構成されている。
本考案の実施例は前記のように構成されている
ので、ハンドル5のピン24が調節孔の長さが一
番長い調節孔7bに嵌合する場合について述べる
と、先ずハンドル5をハンドル軸3に対しドラグ
制動力が緩められる方向に回転させて第6図のド
ラグ制動力曲線αの最小ドラグ制動力側を基準値
とするB位置になるようにピン24を第2図の調
節孔7bの実線の位置に保持して回り止め部材6
で規制座板7を固定した後、ハンドル5を時計方
向に回転させると、ピン24は規制座板7の調節
孔7bの中を時計方向の前端側に向かつて移動さ
れ、この移動でハンドル5はハンドル軸3上を螺
合推進されて第1図で左側に回動前進され、ハン
ドル軸3の外周に嵌挿された発条26を介してド
ラグ制動部材4が押圧されて駆動歯車16にドラ
グ制動力が掛けられると共にハンドル軸3と駆動
歯車16が回転されてピニンオン15を介してス
プール13が回転される。
この時のドラグ制動力は第6図のB位置を基準
値とする強弱の範囲L内の最大のドラグ制動力が
作用しており、獲物が釣糸を引く力がこのドラグ
制動力より大きくなると釣糸は繰り出される。
次にドラグ制動力を前記強弱の範囲Lで弱める
時はハンドル5を第2図で反時計回り方向に逆回
転すると、ハンドル軸3が逆回転されて爪車20
が逆回転され、爪車が逆転防止爪22で係止さ
れ、更にハンドル5逆回転されるとハンドル軸3
に対しハンドルは螺合推進されて第1図で右側に
後退されてドラグ制動力が弱められ、ピン24が
規制座板7の調節孔7bの中を破線の位置から実
線の位置に回転されて時計方向の後端側に度当た
りされるとハンドル5の逆回転が係止されてスプ
ール13は自由回転又は弱いドラグ制動力の状態
で回転される。
同様にピン24を調節孔7bに挿入する以前に
ハンドル5をハンドル軸3に対して回転させて基
準値を第6図のD,G,H等に調節設定すること
もできる。
またピン24を挿入する調節孔7cに嵌合した
場合は、ドラグ制動力の強弱範囲L′となつて前記
調節孔7bの時より強弱範囲を狭くすることがで
きると共に前記同様にピン24を調節孔7cに挿
入する以前にハンドル5をハンドル軸3に対して
回転させて基準値を第6図のC,E,J等の位置
に調節設定することもできる。
更に同様にピン24を調節孔7dに嵌合する
と、その長さに応じてドラグ制動力の強弱範囲
L″とすることもできると共にその基準値もA,
F,Jに変更調節できる。
このように魚釣用リールのハンドルドラグ調節
機構の弱いドラグ制動力の基準値が任意に設定で
きると共に長さの異なる調節孔7b,7c,7d
の一つを選択してピン24を挿入することにより
ドラグ制動力の強弱の範囲がL,L′,L″の範囲
に任意に設定でき、特にハンドル5を釣糸の巻き
上げ方向に強く回転してもスプール13に掛かる
ドラグ制動力はL,L′,L″の範囲の上限がドラ
グ制動力となつてドラグ制動力の掛かり過ぎが防
止される。
また基準値がA位置に設定されたときにドラグ
制動部材4が摩耗されるとピン24が規制座板7
の調節孔の時計方向の後端側に当たる位置より以
前にスプール13が自由回転することになり、最
小のドラグ制動力調節に遊びができるが、その時
は規制座板7を回り止め板6に対して凹凸面を1
歯分第2図で時計方向にハンドル5と共に回して
ビス21で固定することで最小のドラグ制動力の
位置を容易に小さな角度で細かく調節することが
できる。
前記説明では魚釣用リールを両軸受形リールで
述べたが、他の形式のリールに実施することもで
