定着手段とを備えた画像形成装置において、 カセツトから給紙される顕色紙の表裏を検出す
る検出手段と、 この検出手段からの信号を受けて装置本体の動
作を制御する制御手段とを備え、 この制御手段は、前記検出手段により顕色紙の
表裏が誤つていることを検出したとき前記現像手
段による現像と前記定着手段による定着が行われ
